Mine is like that, I never thought or called it bad but if you take your eyes off the road, even just checking your mirrors too long... you're almost off the road or over the yellow line. Makes you nervous driving and makes me not let other people who won't mind this nuance (my kid) drive the...
@Shootist & @JKABBQ I asked the sales rep who ordered my JT, "you've driven a lot of JTs and JLs, right? Do you find the steering all the same or some worse than others?"
Anonymous: "I've driven probably every trim level. Steering seems very similar in my opinion. The rides a little different...
At my appointment today a tech drove my JT and said "seems normal, drives like every other JT", but "customer's description matches TSB".
Parts are on order, meant to arrive tomorrow and appointment on Sept 15th to have the new steering gear installed.
in the TSB I think it says, "cx describes a pull to the right". Are you just always adjusting the wheel a few degrees left to counter act a right pull//drift//walk?
I know there's a lot of back and forth here... But just as a breath of fresh air jump to 2:40 and 4:04
(2mins 40 seconds in, and 4 minutes 4 seconds in and listen for 10-15 seconds)
My first, "drop truck off & fix my steering problem", appointment is Monday the 31st.
I went in before with the TSB and I asked for the SW update but nothing happened, they didn't like seeing me with a TSB.
Should I go to this appointment with the TSB printed and "customer says" point...
I wouldn't recommend it, not a battle I would pick or choose. Just be positive with the dealer & service dept that did good work and did help you out.
Honestly I would say doing that would feel like winning, but wouldn't be worth your time
I don't get how there's such denial and stupidity across the board with all these service departments. What really bugs me is the lack of customer care//service, shown by not acknowledging customer concern & knowledge.
....some customers are actual mechanics.
Out of all the midsized truck the gladiator has the most back seat room. I'm 171 cms and I can sit behind my self. My new bourn baby's car seat doesn't even touch the front seat and there's still room to put my hand and pull the car seat release lever.
Plus the Gladiator has rear climate vents...
Here's a wranglers I found on YouTube with 285/70/17
I don't think wranglers have the max tow fender lip with even the package
Even so I think that extra lip is because the Gladiator with max tow has wider axels (wider track) so it's "proportional"
I think I'll be good... Let me just get...
I have a sport s with no tow package, so I have the most narrow fenders. They don't have that extra widening lip the max tow fenders have.
I've found plenty of threats with info showing they will fit under the fenders and not rub unless I go extreme max flex
What I cannot find out is width...
