A secure bed-cover (tonneau) makes the idea of throwing them in the bed a non-issue. I don't know how I'd get by without a locking hard tonneau, especially when running without the top up.

Yeah and said hard top would be that much lighter to lift if the window panel sucked down into the back of the cab and was not part of the hard top.

The back window makes driving with any other windows opened much more pleasant, due to better airflow. I just wish the window opening was bigger, and remote controlled. I also love driving the soft top with just the rear plastic window out, and the top still on as a sunshade or in cooler temps.
