  1. To LED upgrade or not LED...that should never be a question.

Well LED is still a question for me. Because I put in Silverstar Ultra halogens that work just fine. And mostly because my winch is jammed up against my grill so anything with the grill I have to pull my front skid, and then pull my winch. That doesn’t sound like fun. Fishing the bulbs in from...
  2. Highly Customized Gladiator Rubicon "Launch Edition" - Worth $120K?

For that money I would buy my own Rubicon and drop in a Hemi swap. Then buy a Sport for one of my sons. :)
  3. Hard top vs premium soft top

I run dual tops and no question the hard top is quieter at highway speed and in high winds. I'm talking like driving 80+ real highway not just 55. I also installed the Hotheads headliner right away with sound deadening strips. The Bestop Sunrider option that allows flip-up of just the front seat...
  4. Gone Gator Gone?!?

Love the Gator. It's light enough to not look like black in dim light, although it does morph to imitation Gobi in bright sunlight. I get a lot of compliments on the color.
  5. True Frame-Mounted Rock Sliders?

Ace Engineering sliders mount using the bolts that hold the frame and body together.
  6. Freedom panel storage idea

They should have come with a storage bag. No need to fab anything.
  7. Zero Issues with Gladiator?

No issues on the JT Pentastar. Similar to the JK Pentastar I owned before that. Just a better transmission w the 8 speed.
  8. Colorado Premium Roll-Up Mopar Tonneau

    The box is 11" x 11" x 65" weight is 27lbs, I would be sending from zip code 80124.
  9. Colorado Premium Roll-Up Mopar Tonneau

Yes the material matches the Premium Soft Top from the dual-top Rubicon. They require you to buy the tonneau with the dual-top since the top ships in the bed covered by the tonneau when the truck is delivered.
  10. Colorado Sold: Premium Roll-Up Mopar Tonneau

From Rubicon with dual-top group. Removed after 5 mile drive home of new vehicle, new condition. $399 local pickup, south Denver burbs. Will ship to lower 48 US at buyer cost, I have a good box..
  11. Where do you carry Freedom Panels in the vehicle?

A secure bed-cover (tonneau) makes the idea of throwing them in the bed a non-issue. I don't know how I'd get by without a locking hard tonneau, especially when running without the top up.
  12. Wind noise, leak, need a part number

I wrestled with the "flag" component and its noise a bit today. "Crackle" is a good description of the symptom. First I put on the Silicone bead which was like a 80% solution to the noise. But clear Silicone was shiny and hard to get smooth and it looked odd. So I removed all that with Isopropyl...
  13. Mark Allen Incorrectly Predicted Gladiator's Convertible Top Would Be Dumb, And Says Sub-Gladiator Pickup Won't Happen Right Away

The convertible top design is dumb, the way it stacks. It should have been designed to stack over the bed when folded back. They at least could have made the whole thing quick release with levers so you could throw it in the back under a tonneau without having to fiddle with bolt removal. That...
  14. Hauling Long Lumber

Pull your top, run them part way into the cab and butt some of them against the backs of the front seats. the weight should rest on the front rail of the bed and tailgate with the tailgate closed. tie them down securely. Drive slow. I brought home a few long boards this way, I dont think more...
  15. Rear window

Yeah and said hard top would be that much lighter to lift if the window panel sucked down into the back of the cab and was not part of the hard top.
  16. Rear window

The back window makes driving with any other windows opened much more pleasant, due to better airflow. I just wish the window opening was bigger, and remote controlled. I also love driving the soft top with just the rear plastic window out, and the top still on as a sunshade or in cooler temps.
  17. Best Combo Rock Slider Rail and Step

https://aceengineeringandfab.com/collections/gladiator/products/ace-jt-gladiator-rock-sliders Had them for years on a JK, now longer ones on my JT. The bomb-diggity.
  18. Big MPG jump

MPG when your tire diameter is set wrong is just garbage data. So kinda had to say by comparison. I see in the 15's on 35's so 16+ looks good to me.
