Thanks, just seems like a lot of spacer for the lift but whatever it needs. I don’t mind a little rake, I may go the 1” route and leave 1/2 to 1/4 of rake in there. I do also have a winch but my steel bumper is pretty light for a steel bumper (Rugged Ridge Arcus).
Making the switch from a mix of a Clayton and Rock Krawler lift to an all Rock Krawler setup and I have a question for anyone running the 3 inch springs. Did your level it and how much spacer did it take to level? I am currently running the 1” spacer from the Teraflex kit with the Clayton...
That is what I’m hoping, the shop doing the install said the same thing. I was skeptical as I was mostly happy with the 4:10s with 37s and a pedal commander until I took a longer trip with long stretches with mild inclines and wind. It rarely found 8th and bounced between gears a lot.
Used the Pedal Commander when I went to 37s but now that I’m re-gearing I’m just pulling it off and selling. It did make 37s a lot more tolerable! $225
I think it would be adjustable shocks. This would help with the daily driven and the occasional off-roaded vehicle. Being able to specifically set the shocks to give the best experience on both, with just a few clicks, would be very much appreciated. A shock that isn’t adjustable is ok...
It actually covers the bolt? That will kind of suck since I have thumb screws and it may not work with it. One of my clips is broken and I was considering changing it just because. But, if it forces me to use the torx screw again, I’ll deal with the original being a little looser than it...
It looks the same but looks longer on the section doesn’t really doesn’t matter, it actually would give you a place to hold onto it better than the original design.
I went with the SAE Max and they are pretty awesome and they do not blind oncoming traffic since the cutoff is so good. Aimed properly they are great lights and aren’t too bright at all.
