Yeah, I get it though, designs are always improving. I had no issues with clearing the 37 in the spare tire location with this though so it really is a non-issue. If you could go larger than a 37 underneath it would have been a problem.
I don’t even need a track bar now with the RK 4 link...
Installed in Dec 2020 and it’s in almost new condition. They are $239 new (plus tax), make me a reasonable offer. Clayton’s site says they are for 0-6” of lift. Only selling because I switched to the Rock Krawler Pro-X rear and no longer need a rear track bar. Not looking to ship since I don’t...
That’s a good deal, I got 5 for $1200 from Northridge4x4 but shortages of workers causing shortages of products has driven these tires up by an extra $100 at most retailers. Ridiculous!!!!!
The pats definitely do, aired down a little. I’m not worried about it now as long as I stick to 37s, the Pat under there will cover me in a pinch regardless of tires I run now. I’m just stuck with 37s….?
I ran the Goodyear’s in 35s for about 3000 miles before going to the Pats in a 37 once I lifted the Gladiator. I liked them, and also like you, would never pay retail! But since I live just outside of Akron, OH with lots of friends/family at the Goodyear corporate HQ, I get family discounts...
I’m just over 7k and they seem to be holding up well, they are quiet for an MT tire. I just rotated them, 2000 miles later than I wanted to, and they did get a bit noisier because of the late rotation, but they are already quieting back down with a couple hundred miles on them. I’ve had...
Not sure but don’t think it matters a whole lot if you aren’t replacing all 4 up front. You get the ability to adjust the caster with either and being that it’s only 2.5”, it’s not really impacting the wheelbase much. More important to correct the caster than worry about wheelbase in this case.
Hahaha....snowflake, clearly you do not know me but being called out for a D comment definitely got to you or you would not have gone straight to the highly intellectual name calling. No need for me to respond to you any longer....
No need to bash the hell out of all black grill owners just to answer the question. Kind of a D comment. Maybe you buying the Gladiator was YOU trying too hard to be unique?
Yeah, the finish is really nice on the RH rails but it’s not that textured and can be slippery if wet. Plus, this keeps the unnecessary scratches from dirt/rocks in the shoes from being ground into the finish. They are rock sliders, they are supposed to take abuse but I don’t want to cause it...
