That is unfortunate news. I had gone looking for the speakers before trading in my JL and thinking they would move over to the JT, but the site doesn’t seem to exist anymore and/or redirects to this Audio Uprisings company.
Is there an implication that they squatted the domain and stole the...
Thanks! Waiting on a couple of things before I pull the lever on getting the medium mount, I think. Onboard air will be the first ‘major’ update to the rig. I know I’m going to miss not having onboard air after years of it on the JL. As a ‘use frequently’ update it’s easy and relatively inexpensive.
Thanks! I’ve got the existing 115v outlet in the bed, I should look at the wiring for that and see if I can repurpose it, or splice it to run either the inverter or the air compresssor.
I’m going with one of the two bed mounts, I think and have been wondering how people run wiring back to the bed. I’m thinking 4 or 2 gauge so I can run backup/aux lighting eventually as well.
I'm assuming running it through the frame, but how do you get it up into the bed?
Returned from the first long distance (600+km) trip. Round trip is ~1300km. Averaged 8.7l/100km. I know that won’t last once it’s on 35s (and eventually 37s) and lifted but if I only lose a couple of liters per, I’ll be estatic. The JLU was getting 14-15l/100.
Yeah, hindsight I really wished they had replaced the bus/harness that passes through the firewall. I’m pretty sure other wiring in the bus has small nicks that would short occasionally.
Jeep even made that an easy replacement. There’s a connector on each side of the firewall…
My JL would occasionally do the same thing, and I forded some deep water crossings. Usually cleared in under 500m as the mud/water spun off the sensors. Worse case I’d clear the code with the Tazer and all would be good.
Unfortunately the JL was plagued with gremlins after I accidentally cut...
Nothing big done yet, but the 67designs rail mount went in today, paired with the G3 mag mount.
Yesterday I took the freedom panels off for the first time to drive. Muscle memory has me reaching for the One-Touch power top still.
I don’t see any damage to the terminals, were these installed and then removed? It does look (maybe) like the right hand terminal has some marks from being bolted down.
It's a moot point (having traded it in...) but I just realized I never properly broke in the 4.56 regear at the front on my '19 Wrangler. Oops, but they didn't break wheeling, so all good.
Man there sure are a lot of grumpy assed people in this thread. When I had Hulk still (Mojito! Green JLU) there was one kid about 5 or 6 who motioned to me to roll my window down at a stop light.
She hands me a duck and her dad tells me she’s been waiting to see my jeep again so she could give...
