Installed the Hotheads, Blue Ridge Overland attic and installed the pew pew holder and a couple items on the Desert Does It molle panel.
Hotheads went in easily. I did loosen the top and somehow managed to lose a freaking bolt. I'll be taking the back apart tomorrow for my auxiliary wiring...
Or riding in the back of someone's truck down the road in a beach town...
There's enough reason to believe there's going to be a fire breather in there at least as an option. The checkered flag on the teaser slide deck indicated that with other SRT level projects.
If the Scrambler has a...
Thanks and agree. I'm trying to build as much redundancy into the setup as i can. I don't care if my battery dies but if my beer gets warm?
Heads will roll, man.
@Jrgunn5150 's post above about tooling and line operations is exactly why the Buzzcut, though cool, won't likely happen. The amount of money and time spent just getting the windshield on the JT/JL to fold down alone is massive per interviews with the engineers. Redesigning it for a road-legal...
@ItsmeMrWright LOL! Much appreciated on the diagram. I have some 12v experience from years back designing, selling and installing car audio and lighting but it aint saying much.
As I'm playing out various scenarios, i am thinking about changing this to the 40a switched fuse.
Ive run my idea...
Interesting idea. I've considered a PowerPole connection on the panel for "something" TBD but didn't think about stepping that up to the 40a circuit.
My original plan with the 40a was to rewire the winch so its not a direct line off the battery (as the previous owner had done) and rather...
@Toytech01 not a problem, credit where due.
DC-DC was the other option I considered but that would require I always have the Mega or another power station in the truck.
This one can adjust the output to match the Mega: https://www.bougerv.com/products/alternator-charger-for-power-station...
Probably yes considering pretty much everything runs through the UConnect and the Stinger wasn't OEM.
Do you still have your old stereo? It would be worth checking if the cluster doesn't work when that's plugged in.
Big thanks to @Toytech01. His non-deleted back seat thread was the inspiration for my own. I hope to execute it as well as he has. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/the-un-deleted-rear-seat-custom-fridge-platform-diy.106559/
We have a couple longer road trips (MD > VT, MD > NC...
Fair. I'm out of warranty and have the ESS turned off via the Tazer.
So far since the unfortunate WTF is wrong with my Jeep incident last month, I haven't given it any thought either. But here I am this morning before leaving for appointments looking at battery systems and my ADHD kicked in.
I yanked the wire, taped it and pulled #42 with zero lights after finding out the hard way not to jump start the BMW from the Jeep. (yes, the BMW tried to kill the Jeep. Damned Germans.)
That said I have some service work I'll be doing the weekend and on my list of shit is to actually remove...
My packages got here earlier today and I threw the Sunrider panel in before I headed out.
Massive difference in just installing that piece. This weekend I'll hopefully have the time to get the rest done but... wow!!
