So times its better to let people do what they think is right for them. This way they will eventually learn how good, good can be vs what some think is good. Some never learn how good a jeep can be. Even at 2.5-3” it can be much more expensive than any kit I have ever seen
Isnt that what I said , in degrees it dont matter . I figured it was given where you measure depends on the tire size and I doubt any one is running a 17" diameter tire which is what I was referring too when the poster mentioned he measured from the edge of the rim. I doubt their are many people...
Only issue I see doing it from the rim is you are only measuring at about 17" apart . Now if it tells you in degrees thats fine . I prefer to measure about 36" a part when measuring in inches .
Eventually you will find that the geometry correction brackets for control arms are only half of the geometry that could use help . Going to a high steer like Rock Jock has will correct the geometry for your drag link and track bar once you have 2.5" of lift or more . Now that is not cheap but...
I finally have a 7" instrument cluster installed. Bought from LKQ and I installed it for a month to be sure everything worked as it should . I calculated the mileage and sent it to The Instrument Cluster Store in PA. mileage_correction.htm to be corrected . I put it in the mail Friday afternoon...
On the other hand I have yet to find a set of spider traxx spacers " INSTALLED CORRECTLY " cause an once of problems . If the correct ones are used with most OE wheels you end up with no more back spacing than most aftermarket wheels . I still have 4 on my old 05 Rubicon being I liked the OE...
I was googling something a few days ago and a thread came up from there I believe. It sounded like Jerry B and Blaine and someone else seem to of had a bit of a falling out since I was around there.Something to do with Savvy stickers . I was looking for info on what took place with Gerald at Savvy.
This forum seems to be more active than most for Gladiators . I am always looking for a forum as busy as "Jeep Forum" was 20 some years ago for TJ mods but I guess them days are gone
I have since bought a 7" cluster from a 2022 Gladiator. I have run it for a couple weeks to be sure everythink works fine which it does. I will swap the 3.5 back in while I get the 7" odometer corrected . Any one have a Wrangler who would like a 7", I have one for a 22 with 11,000 miles on the...
If you go to jeep.com and build a jeep when you check max tow it usually tells you what the pkg includes. Give it a try some time and ya just may surprise yourself. Its quicker than reading 80 some posts and still unsure
You are at the same height as I am. I now have Currie’s RockJock High steer kit installed. My slight bump steer with OE DL and TB and knuckles are now gone . Now with the high steer kit my track bar and drag link are at about the same angle as a stock Rubicon’s are at . This was the best item i...
I do mine a little different being temps change so much and its heated garage . I just check them on the instrument cluster when I have been driving at speed for a while . I try to keep mine around 33-34 during the average temps that season. Mine is garage kept at 65 degrees at the coldest so my...
