I have started noticing a mild bump steer lately. Only happens when going straight and hit a bump where the front goes up and down. I don’t notice it on pot holes or man covers where only one wheel hits things. I don’t notice it over expansion joints, only when the suspension bounces up and down going straight.
I have checked and torqued all steering components. I have recently installed a steersmarts flipped drag link and trackbar bracket and new yeti trackbar with poly bushings.
2021 Mojave with AEV 2 inch spacer lift with Geo brackets and 37 KO2. I did an at home alignment and tried 1/8 toe in and 1/8 toe out. Both felt the same. The Jeep drives great and tracks straight down the road. I would just like to solve this last piece of the puzzle. I have included a video of me bouncing the front end. This is what it does on the road. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have actual Bump steer . When the steering wheel actually turns slightly as the suspension cycles like when hitting a dip in the road. Thats Bumpsteer . Some people refer to a wobble or a shimmy when you do hit a pot hole or a bump with just one tire bump steer but that is in correct . Its hard to tell when someone says they have actual bump steer because 50% or more don't realize what actual bump steer is . Normally its something that has been altered or change with the drag link and or track bar that causes it or some times a tall lift can create it with OE linkage . Most Draglink flips require more than 2" lift . I bet that may be your issue .

I forgot to mention I swapped the 2in AeV spacers in front for Teraflex 3 inch to remove some of the rake. The bump steer was worse before I flipped the drag link and added the raised track bar bracket.

I have a slight amount of bump steer at 3" with just a currie drag link and core track bar but it takes an extreme dip in the road to make it known. I have the rest of Currie's High steer kit which don't require a drag link flip. They make new Knuckles that just raise the tie rod and drag link like 2.5" so that should take care of the tiny bit I have . Axle end of the track bar gets raised to match and steering stabilize also gest raised . The kit is for wide or narrow axles and for hydraulic ram assist or not

How is the relationship between your drag link and track bar? Since you have bump steer, I'm guessing they are no longer parallel.

Can you post a pic of the front showing the drag link and track bar making sure you have both ends in the same picture?

Here are some pictures. It is the steer smarts bracket and drag link so it should be aligned.

Sorry, I didn’t explain the pic I was requesting very well.

Can you take a pic straight on from the front and far enough back so you can see both ends of the track bar and drag link?

Dang, it’s just too hard to tell with the sway bar setup you have. It’s blocking the connection points in the pics so you can’t draw a line to see how they relate. What sway bar setup is that?

You are at the same height as I am. I now have Currie’s RockJock High steer kit installed. My slight bump steer with OE DL and TB and knuckles are now gone . Now with the high steer kit my track bar and drag link are at about the same angle as a stock Rubicon’s are at . This was the best item i have installed since lifting it. Now when wind or road surface makes the jeep rock it has no effect on the tracking of the vehicle at all.
