What are your goals? Clayton will be cheaper by the time you add shocks, and IMO is the better choice regardless of that. EVO is overpriced and has its problems. Theyāre customer service is fantastic as well.
Considering the Rubicon is only rated for 650 pounds less than your Max Tow and thatās known to largely be because of the added weight on the Rubicon, Iād say youāre more than ok.
Honestly, itās going to look pretty ridiculous without a lift. Not many people like that wide of a tire on a Jeep as it is, but with a lift it at least looks proportional.
My first vehicle was a ā95 YJ. Super clean. 4cyl, 5 speed. It was slower than a lawnmower and you couldnāt hear the radio above 40mph, but I loved every bit of it.
JK Gear & Gadgets YouTube channel did exactly that on their Gladiator. Falcon stabilizer first, then synergy brace. They said the brace was still a very noticeable improvement.
I initially had the intention of buying a JLU before I got the Gladiator, and really liked the idea of that turbo 4 for that very reason. If it weren't for the rear mounted battery pack setup that runs underneath the vehicle, I probably would have considered it.
You seem to be an anomaly with this. My max tow never got better than 19-19.5 stock and with my current setup I get 16-17 over a tank. I'm not hard on the pedal, it just doesn't get great mileage. FWIW, I'm also hand calculating, not going by the dash mpg. The dash always reads about 1 mpg...
I could be wrong, but I don't think the rock rails are 33lbs each. I put some on my sport and don't recall them being too heavy. Maybe 33 lbs for both.
