Does the wrangler not have the same stalk as the JT for hi/lo beam? Mine goes both ways for lo, but only forward for hi. And I can flash hi by pulling back. Which can be an advantage - I always pull back for lo, so if I forget whether I dimmed the lights worse case is I flash someone...

I have a 6MT Rubicon and it does not have the 5th shock. There are other threads that discuss this.

That 5th shock is not on ”all” 6MT‘s built. Some 6MT builds have them and some do not.

Check if they blew a high voltage fuse while replacing the battery.
