shouldn’t be a problem, but you could disconnect both positive and negative from the main battery to charge just the Aux battery.
again, don’t let the positive touch ground While it is disconnected.
Hook up a charger to the main positive and ground and it will charge both the Aux and Crank batteries… tHen you should know if the aux really has bit the dust, before replacing something that you may not need to replace.
The Aux and Main batteries are in parallel so be sure the positive clamp is wrapped to prevent it hitting ground while it is disconnected… or you could blow the $$$ fuse at N3.
I dremalled the plastic stub out of the mirror so the mirror could flip on the ball… the detent is not really necessary unless i suppose someone was to spin the mirror multiple times and end up damaging the internal wiring.
Shouldn’t the cost of Def fluid be taken into consideration with the diesel? How often does that need to be added and what is the impact when it runs out?
The TSB only details the install of the diverter pieces on the sport bar. Can you post the instructions for the header piece - following is from the TSB: Remove current header seal and install new revision header seal. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service...
I did swap the meters and it seems to be a calibration issue. Interestingly enough, I disconnected the charger and an hour later the readings had increased to 12.8 for both.
thanks for the input from you both - I know just enough to know there’s always more to learn! I thought the PCR was separating the batteries ,but clearly got the situation upside down since I know both batteries are charging when engine is off and a charger is attached to the crank battery...

I added a vermin screen to the upper air intake. made from gutter screen from the HD - easily formed to fit around the intake. It is just friction fit for now. seems pretty solid but will keep an eye on it to determine if a more permanent attachment method is required. Still need to do the...
I use the NOCO genius 5 with the quick connect eyelet pigtail (replacing the alligator clamps), permanently attached to the positive post and the ground bolt on the passenger fender.
I also added SAE pigtails to attach Battery Tender volt meters so I can monitor SOC on the Aux and Crank...
It is listed as for both 3.6 and 3.0 gladiator-
https://mopar.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/mopar-vehicle-battery-bbaux101ab
so you are probably better off just asking for the aux14 battery and don’t bother getting into specific applications with the parts counter person. Or tell them it is for...
The correct cable will depend on your build year and possibly other considerations… best to trace which cable goes to body ground and then disconnect the other one.
