  1. Anyone using this soft cap (from wild-top.com)?

Wild Top Customer Service was fantastic in answering my questions. A+ for that. I ended up finding a good deal on a RDL , but I was sure leaning on the Wild Top for a while.
  2. Jeep 3 piece Suit.

    This seems appropriate
  3. Removed cigarette lighter for a project...

I was thinking about the Warn remote selinoid for the winch power lead. I could put the on/off switch there.
  4. Great map light upgrade

Who needs it? I've been using the same map light for years now (and many different vehicles).
  5. Gladiator vs Tacoma IMO

I came seriously close to buying a ā€˜20 Taco in 2019 because it was the only decent truck left with a manual transmission. Then I saw the Gladiator come on the market. I absolutely made the right decision with the Jeep. There is a reason that I prefer a canoe to a kayak. The Taco sits like a...
  6. What’s your best mod for appearance, comfort, bang for the buck and usability?

Best bang for the buck- Take-off Rubi wheels and tires $600 Best for comfort- Sunrider for Hardtop Best for use ability- Rubi steel bumper and Warn winch
  7. Georgia Sport S alloy wheels

4 of them in excellent condition. Tires mounted (some miles left in them) but not balanced and no TPS. Took them off at 35K miles. All ya gotta do is pick them up. Duluth/Norcross area just North of Atlanta.
  8. Took a look at a 2020 Sport and have a question

To me, definitely lifted. I have a ā€˜20 Sport with standard suspension and Rubi tires/wheels. It’s not that high.
  9. Coverless - trail rail storage options?

Modify some GI Surplus Ammo Cans. Cheap, sturdy and waterproof
  10. Winter weather prep

I’m from Georgia. My winter prep is to put a little air in the tires and a pair of gloves in the console.
  11. How to make the most of the room you got.

Recovery gear, winch controller, bottle jack, Red Ryder BB gun, a .22 rifle, Ammo, couple of umbrellas, junk like that.
  12. Work commute cut to just 1.5 miles... Should I be concerned with constant cold tranny?

I’d love to have a 1.5 mile commute. I’d walk it every day. I visit our factory in Europe several times a year. One of the great pleasures is walking the 1.25 miles to and from the factory each day.
  13. Who Has The Tan Cloth Interior?

My Sting Gray came with black seats. But I put tan Bartact covers in. I like the combo.
  14. Anyone using this soft cap (from wild-top.com)?

I’d like that too, I suppose the more angled sides are necessary to support the load on the rack, especially through turns or off-road jostling.
  15. Anyone using this soft cap (from wild-top.com)?

Here is the frame work. Will support 200 pounds in motion, 700 sitting still.
  16. Anyone using this soft cap (from wild-top.com)?

I like what I see here. The rigid frame and integrated rack, the open access from the sides, it sounds too good to be true. Wild-top.com
  17. A different kind of question about tonneau covers…

Secure enough. Locks are for honest people and all that. I think I’d put a low platform in the bed to slide tools, Gun cases, etc under. It would be very difficult to get underneath it with the tailgate locked.
  18. A different kind of question about tonneau covers…

I have the Bak Flip tri-fold. Used the same model on my pre-Gladiator Chevy. I’m very satisfied with the tonneau. It looks nice, my stuff is secure and it has never leaked. Someone noted the lack of visibility when it is folded up against the rear of the cab. If you are hauling a dirt bike, a...
  19. Let’s talk about sunvisors…

Dealer has replaced my driver side twice. Built in garage opener, so it’s not cheap. Each time I waited for months for the replacement part to come in. I bought the metal repair clips for both my son’s Gladiator and mine as a preventative measure. Seems like a good idea.
