Iāve been very happy with mine for close to 2 years now. I really figured that I would have had to refinish it by now, but the finish is holding up fine. Never seen a garage in its life. When/if the finish goes south Iāll have it Line_Xāed. The winch plate did seem a little light. But I hooked...
Temps are dropping and so are my tire pressures. Yesterday my TPMS warning light came on. Told me 33 psi is too low on the left side but OK on the right. I thought that was weird, almost a reflection of our political parties not agreeing on anything. But today it got better, now 33psi is too...
My dealer, when I picked up the truck, warned me that a brush car wash will quickly destroy the seal between the freedom panels. Just an FYI. My Jeep has worn a Sunrider since week 2, but I still donāt use the automatic carwash.
Exactly what I do. The first winter i swapped the Freedom Panels back on for a while and found that theyād were no warmer and no quieter than the Sunrider. I store the panels in the attic.
I hunted in a ā60 model. It belonged to an older guy that also had access to the farm and he just left it there all hunting season. Looked just like this one. Same green color and home-grown wood bed stakes. It didnāt have a winch and the ā60 had a 1 piece slightly curved windshield. Flat head...
My install was very straightforward. The instructions were zip and I had some trouble figuring out the brackets for the winch plate. Shadowās Papa helped me out with that. Some plastic hole plugs from Amazon filled in the sensor holes. I still think the bumper was a great deal.
Hey! I lived in Iowa for a while. Where is the love???? Course neighboring states said Iowa was an acronym for Idiots Out Wandering Around ?. Sorry Shadows Papa, couldnāt resist! ?
Wow, great question. The factory jack is a turd. Sport S with no lift, Rubi tires and wheels. First time using the jack on the edge of I-75 in northern Florida. The soft shoulder collapsed a tiny bit (like 3/8ā or less) and the jack came crashing down. Literally bent in half and useless. Had to...
Since September of 2019. Will hit 50K miles before the next oil change. Still love it. Sting Gray Sport S 6 Speed with everything I wanted and nothing extra. Threw on some Rubicon take-off tires and wheels at about 35K. Wouldnāt take anything for it.
My grandma drove a Maverick back in the early ā70s. Are we talking about the same thing here?
Seriously, for what is is intended to do, Ford did it nice. An associate of mine bought one. He is a sales guy and on the road a LOT. Nothing but good things to say about it. (Andā¦.my grandma really...
Man, thatās easy. I rebuilt the engine/transmission in a M151A2 that I owned a while back. It all comes out in 1 piece and goes back in one piece. After getting it all lined up straight, bolted in and drive shafts installed the final step was installing the shift tower and cover. YES, OF COURSE...
I, too, tried a Hendrik Jeep dealership. Put a whole new light on Just Empty Every Pocket. I bought in October 2019 when all of the Atlanta stealerships were marking the new Gladiators up just because they could. I ended up driving up to Winchester, Tennessee where Russell Barnett Jeep gave me a...
I bought a pack of small stainless āSā hooks at Lowes. Bolted the s hooks under the nuts along the inside top of the bumper and zip tied my wiring harness to them. It worked out great!
