They haven't had a Pro on a lot within 250 miles of my zip code until maybe 2 months ago.
By then I'd already purchased a truck. I'm 3 years out from buying another now.
I've done 17 different LS swaps, still have my 4runner to go. Kind of over that now.
I've had this truck since 1994, it has had 454's, 496, 540's, LS's, small blocks... Might as well go big for the last one.
I figure there will be some interest here, even though this is slated for my C10. C10 is currently a 3600 rpm converter, 3.73 gear, turbo LS with a .585 cam at 230 degrees duration, running on a Holley Terminator X.
I'm no expert, and learning as I go as well, but, I've purchased a PSI 8.8L "R"...
I'm uninterested in ever purchasing another ICE truck for my daily use.
I'm referring to the Lightning and Silverado EV, if they were that 45k, I'd have that 8.8L big block sitting in the back of one of them instead of that Cummins truck.
I have a Slate on pre-order, because I genuinely need a truck often for crap like this, but I'm not willing to spend what Ford and GM want for their trucks.
I drove a 53 CJ3 from Amarillo to Cleveland. You know, a REAL Jeep, blah blah
Great time, wore a tarp and some blankets... Took 3 days, never went over 60 mph.
The people who complain about road trips tend to be the same ones who won't drive to the next town for anything.
In my small town, most of the residents will simply go without or pay more for whatever than drive 45 minutes each way to the larger cities of Grand Rapids or Lansing.
We, again, drive our EV no less than 100 miles, up to 175 miles, per day, 5 days a week, and never charge anywhere but in the driveway.
Which I know, for the purposes of this thread, wouldn't even get you guys to the mailbox, but is somehow still 2-3x more than the average daily commute.
I would say only on this forum, but I don't even believe that's true.
I would bet 9 in 10 doors never come off.
and 99.999% never come off more than once.
Which is the surest way to find all three people in the world who never put their doors on in this thread.
All your stuff blowing out...
