  1. New winch and new front bumper, best way to counter balance.

Yup, that's what I was sayin. There's only 1 stop spacer. Like I said in the posts above, a 2.5" coil spacer and a 2.5" bump stop spacer. At least that's what the tape measure says. Hoping for some insight and yeah since I joined and been reading on the forum so fsr Shadowpapa might be the...
  2. New winch and new front bumper, best way to counter balance.

Haha I won't be havin no shop reseat nothing haha, I have plenty of tools. If I have a proper isolator positioning the coil better there will be a big difference in height and distance between the bumpstop and spacer you mean? @Freems The coil is positioned all the way to the correct position...
  3. New winch and new front bumper, best way to counter balance.

This photo shows massive clearance between the bump stop and spacer (or lack there of maybe?) I added a winch/bumper about 150lbs. Apparently I have a 2.5" spacer lift on the front of my 80th Anniversary. Bump stops looks to be getting best up with the lack of clearance. Thinking of adding...
  4. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

I just went and measured the distance between the top of the axle housing to the bottom edge of the upper coil spring mount 'pocket' and got 12". Searching threads on I found a post saying that is a measurement on a stock Rubicon (JLU). Anyone know what a stock 80th anniversary would be (maybe...
  5. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

That's what I was thinking. Didn't know what was normal though. I put a winch and bumper on, guess it's heavier than it felt. How much distance should there normally be between the bump stop? And... think a Mopar 2" coil would make up a bit for some of the sag?
  6. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

So you figure I should maybe switch them around back to front and fronts to back then? Edit: just took a look at the install instructions on that kit to confirm and it is saying replace the front links and reuse the rear. That causes some confusion on the kit contents vs the install...
  7. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

Thanks for that info too. Ya know, after reading the kit contents for that readylift link, it says it comes with the rear stabilizer link and not the front. Wonder if they put them on the front instead of the rear.
  8. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

FML. Ya, nope still don't work for me on the Ol' "smart phone". Anyway tio the subject at hand anyway... (but fir real, duno what I'm doing wrong on the attachments deal...)
  9. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

Well this is what I got. Yup looks like no shock extension in the back and stock shocks... Let me know know the rear stab links. Not sure there. And whatever else, like i said new to the scene here. Think I might have an idea of what I'm looking at, but no pro here for sure.
  10. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

Only pic I left out is this one. Rear shocks are stock. No pic but gime a minute... and ya, guess I missed the rear Stab link too. BRB... (BTW not real happy with this site not letting me add pics with my phone and having to use this Laptop only..., just sayin...)
  11. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

You sir, look to be right on the money, judging by the looks anyway. I'm thinking after getting underneath it that it does look to be that ReadyLift kit. Front Stab bar links, front shock extensions, front & rear lower bump stop spacers, front /rear coil spacers. Although the photo there...
  12. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

Oops editted the wrong post (previous one) so pics are posted twice of the rear. But there they is... Looks like there may be a spacer and bump stop extension (let me know if I'm wrong here...) BUT... No shock extension on the back... Just looking for confirmation of what Im looking at and...
  13. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

New to the scene here. Never owned a JEEP so sorry for my ignorance in advance. Thanks for the quick replies though. Much appreciated. Just ran out for some rear pics... When I bought the thing, I assumed it was stock. Didn't look lifted to me, but again not a seasoned JEEP vet much less...
  14. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

You sir, may be correct. But I duno, haha. That does look like the parts I see and you just might be right. ReadyLift is a brand that is easily sourced locally (going off my previous life proor to my first JEEP here though). I need to go look at the back to now to see if they only did the...
  15. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

(technical difficulties...) after firing up the Ol' laptop... See original post above
  16. Can you tell me whats factory/aftermarket in the pics?

Long story short, apparently I have an "aftermarket 2" to 2 1/2" lift. Took some pics for reference. I went and toon a look and There looks to be a 2.25" (Ima call it a 2" spacer) on the top of the coil spring. The, what I'm gona call, the lower bump stop spacer, looks to be like a silver...
  17. In The Middle Of The Night.....

Load your guns and get in the bunker. Sounds like Maximum overdrive to me.
  18. Bumper with Grille Guard: Expanding Beyond Bumpers!

Actually... I just went and washed my Rig (been awhile and it was well deserved with all the bug guts). The paint just came right off from the light that was preinstalled on the lower RH light. Don't suppose that would be a warranty thing by chance? I bought the Jeep last July and the bumper...
  19. Spacer vs Mopar 2" coils - options/part #'s

I've been searching brands and options. But being in Canada I'm finding options a little more limited when weighing cost. There is a pretty significant difference a couple steps across the border. Some brands I can't seem to source without buying and shipping across the border and again the...
