Yes, I bought the Mojave specific hood gas strut(So I dont have to keep lifting up that heavy steel hood and fumbling with the factory hood strut). Also bought Mojave specific A-pillar ditch light mounta.
What year? I thought all Mojaves had steel hoods with the front vent hood scoop. I havent done a magnet check but the hood on my 23 JTM is really heavy so Iām sure its steel.
Ive ceramic coated two vehicles and can tell the difference when washing these cars. Bug splatter and bird poop come off very easily compared to my cars that dont have ceramic coating. That said, a nice wax job will have nearly the same effect, so you wont know the difference unless youāve been...
Since there are no posts from Puerto Rico, I figured I'd throw this YouTube link in here. A nice gathering of CJ's in Orocovic, Puerto Rico. Check out the CJ-8 Scrambler, towards the end of the lineup.

Now thats thinking outside the box! The bolts on one of my kcās was just barely touching the cowl, so i took a hacksaw to it. Flipping it around would have been a lot easier!
Me neither. If it wasnt such a simple fix (hose clamp) then I would go back to the dealer I purchased from. Its annoying when opening the tailgate and half of it pulls out of place.
Different folks, different strokes. OP seems to be pretty extroverted and wouldnt mind if he was in the original sellerās shoes and the new owner tracked him down.
On the other hand, there may be people out there, particularly women, who would be really creeped out if some random dude tracked...
