    I’m 6’3ā€. Not enough headroom in mine. Put in the Seat Slammers and it’s like a whole different vehicle. Plenty of headroom now. Best mod you can do if you’re tall.

    Don’t ever ask the salesman a question. Do your own research. Friend of mine is the GM at the local Toyota dealership. He was their top salesman. He always says ā€œDon’t ask me car questions. I don’t know s—t about cars other than how to sell themā€.

    For the life of me I can’t get the brown paper off of the adhesive panels supplied. Plastic comes off no problem. Glue wants to come up with the paper and makes a complete mess of things. Already ruined two of the ā€œglueā€ panels. Any advice before I go any further?

    CreepyJeepy: I wouldn’t wire a high load through the auxillary switches. Better to wire the load through a relay that is controlled by the auxillary switch.

    Never questioned the decision to add a winch after I was stuck and alone. Don’t forget tree straps, pulleys and shackles.

    A friend of mine is a car salesman. He has told me on more than one occasion how often people will pay more for a used car than they could buy it for new on the other side of the lot. We are in that situation with Gladiators right now. Jump on whatever 23 is left that fits your needs. I did.

    I’m in upstate NY. We have the same problem with our snowmobile trails. Losing more trails every year. Our pastimes are the victim of increasingly selfish people.

    If I am understanding this, the OP bought a fully accessorized JT from the dealer. If the dealer arranged the insurance and failed to disclose to the insurer that the vehicle had a substantial amount of upfit, I think the OP has a solid case of negligence against the dealer.
