A base Sport Gladiator with a V8 isn't really what I'm looking for. I wanted a Rubicon so I could throw a lift and a few minor mods on it and hit the trail. I have massive respect for guys who rip the guts out and start over, but my truck is my daily and not used as a hardcore wheeling...
Sounds like the issue isn't the customer communicating with them, it's them communicating with the customer.
Giving away free stuff for delays is not sustainable.
This sounds like a company about to go under; I've seen this pattern before, it tends to happen when companies are strapped for cash and relying on new orders and deposits to fulfill existing orders. Not being able to keep employees in is a red flag, people don't stay if they think the place...
They never made a lot of power, but they were reliable and how that power came on was ideal. 175 bhp was not awful at the time of development, but we have 3 cylinder economy engines putting out more than that today.
What we need is an under square engine with good low end torque, not a...
I never said they overlapped, I said the 4.0 and the 3.6 both went in the Wrangler (not the TJ, JK, or JL - Wrangler). The 4.0 made something like 80% of peak torque at just over idle, a nearly perfect torque curve for crawling. The 3.8 and 3.6 were built for crossovers and minivans schlepping...
The Pentastar V6 is getting to the end of its useful life's cycle. If Stellantis isn't looking at a replacement now they are already behind. The current demand is cross platform sharing and the Pentastar was fine for street cars, but lacked the low end power curve of the 4.0 it replaced.

I got an automated email asking for the usual stuff for a warranty claim, photos, proof of purchase, etc. I sent them all that along with screen shots of their own videos and website - this is what I just got back.
I had to deal with insurance for a driver who hit me and broke my arm, even with a lawyer they were stalling paying the settlement we agreed on and kept sending checks with incorrect information.
I finally told my attorney I was done playing nice since they were not negotiating in good faith...
As someone who has been driving in mountain winters since (checks watch) forever, I cannot stress enough how utterly shit MT tires are on snowy or wet pavement.
That's the correct way to signal that you want to "play" the duck game. You buy a "seed duck". The rule should be "don't leave ducks unless you see ducks", a good number of Jeep owners don't have any interest or get annoyed at people leaving crap on their vehicles. Only duck people who want them.
I've seen companies pull a similar move to delay things so you can't dispute things with the credit card company.
Well, that sounds familiar. Why ship with hardware at all if you just throw any random stuff in the box and call it a day?
