The Pentastar V6 is getting to the end of its useful life's cycle. If Stellantis isn't looking at a replacement now they are already behind. The current demand is cross platform sharing and the Pentastar was fine for street cars, but lacked the low end power curve of the 4.0 it replaced.I hope he is wrong about the V6 going away.
Jeep really needs an engine built for purpose rather than a minivan or crossover engine stuffed in it.
