And yet here you are calling Jeep owners "not very bright" and complaining about your truck without trying to solve the problem.
Wooo! I'd like to thank the Sex Toy Academy...
Feels fine dishing the insults, but can't take being treated in kind.
Unlike Gripey-McWhinesalot here, I knew what I was in for with Jeep ownership. What my truck does is worth the cost of ownership and I'm prepared for those issues.
That doesn't explain his claims of death wobble, glass catching fire, or jeep techs "shocked" by a stock vehicle.
There might be some truth to what he's saying, but there's a lot here that doesn't add up. And what's the point of this thread anyway? He's got a failure on a used Jeep and is in...
Insulting the members of this forum isn't going to win you any sympathy. You sound like a dickhead.
And if we are going on "not very bright", you're the one making the claim, so it's your burden of proof. You found one anecdote on Reddit and keep spamming that link as "proof" that the...
Yeah, the assumption is that the gears were modded - because why would a tech be "shocked" by OE gearing, and how would OE gearing (or any gearing) cause a fluid loss in the transmission? So either you're embellishing the story significantly, the shop is a bunch of clowns who are "shocked" by...
I have no idea how you managed to destroy that transmission, the ZF8 is used all over in higher stress and much higher power engines. Something isn't adding up about your vehicle's history, it's starting to sound like the title got washed and those mods were done to cover damage.
I thought about it, but the number of problems reported by other owners convinced me to keep my OE LED lights. My truck has enough Jeep Things going on already, aftermarket mods should be fixing issues, not causing them.
Good shocks will matter most if you want to “float”, but disconnecting the front sway bar makes the biggest difference..
In terms of quality and customer service, Metalcloak has been my go-to. We have their gear on two vehicles and have been very pleased.
“I want to post to a forum built for discussion, but don’t discuss anything with me” is an interesting take.
Maybe Twitter is more your speed? That’s the “shout into the void” platform.
You will have the same problem with metal cans or any unvented fuel can. The temperature goes up, the pressure changes, you change altitude and the can will expand or contract. I have four NATO jerry cans and have to open them at mid-day to vent the gas or I can't take them out of their...
No, it's leaking from the seal along the top of the windshield and drips onto the steering column, passenger floor, or the center stack. I've had new seals installed by the dealer and it still leaked, then I had the freedom panels off, cleaned and tried applying a layer of waterproof...
