Mine has the LED package.....

FIrst thing, and the thing I notice the most when I look out into the driveway and smile, is replacing the orange front marker lights! Smoke on white with black fender makes a huge difference in appearance. It's like a big boy truck! Quick and easy swap.

Second thing, got rid of the creepy giant growths sticking out of the rear corners. That gave it an even more big boy look, blending the lights into the body. Install pretty easy also (although, see harness comment)

3rd I may not do again, that's the reverse lights. I think, at least, a better application of those would be to wire them to a dash switch vs. having them on everytime you back up. (again, see harness comment)

The issue I had was getting bad harness, twice, trying to get the back end going. Fingers are crossed, but so far it's working.

The Gladiator, even with the LED lighting, is IMO sorely lacking on the safety side by not having side marker lights and turn signals. The stock front and rear side marker lights are just to small.

I replaced the plastic cove piece with really bright side marker/turn signals. That would be the very first thing I would do. In reality I actually put in my QuadraTech stealth LED lights first---but they hardly ever get used.

Jeep Gladiator If you had to pick ONE lighting mod to recommend… what’s the move? LED SideMarker

Not sure why I waited so long but I just installed the Oracle flush mounted LED tail lights. Besides being so much more brighter and visible they really clean up how the rear of the Jeep looks.

Yea if anything gets replaced? Will be the halogen headlight bulbs! Now that the shorter days are going away, I’m not sure what I want to use. Has anyone tried Sylvania Silver Star Ultra? That’s supposed to be the strongest legal bulb to use, unless I want to use LED’s and just aim a little low.

In my post I was simply saying the lights worked and looked good. I did not ask for nor did it require any input from you.
“I want to post to a forum built for discussion, but don’t discuss anything with me” is an interesting take.

Maybe Twitter is more your speed? That’s the “shout into the void” platform.

If you would have said something constructive I would not have replied to your comments . I say Installed the Oracle tail lights and you have to point out all the problems with them. I am just curious have you ever installed Oracle tail lights. I am always open for discussion but not pissing contests.

I thought about it, but the number of problems reported by other owners convinced me to keep my OE LED lights. My truck has enough Jeep Things going on already, aftermarket mods should be fixing issues, not causing them.

You might want to reconsider. I put it off for over two years and figured there are probably more people with no problems than those with. If I were to pay attention to everything on this forum I would never have bought a gladiator. I used my J scan to activate the lED for everything associated with with the tail lights and did not use any of the resistors that came with the lights. They fit nice and look nice. You will be the first to know if I have any issues.

LED headlights was one of my first mods. Not LED bulbs, but the whole headlight assembly. I don't regret it
