    Tylenol. Lots of Tylenol. 🤣

I added some Harbor Freight RoadShock Edge 6 lights onto my Mopar winch guard with the Mopar brackets. The new lights are not difficult to install with the harness from HF, with some helpful modifications from this post below. The harness was shortened by 6+ feet, but very neat and organized...

I'll have to coordinate with Google Earth for the satellite snapshot for that one. Really, it's more of time, tools, and available work area, plus balancing a trip out, and not getting divorced because all my vacation time is spent with the Jeep crew. 🤣

Now just some gentle break in time. Looks great. That's on my list of stuff to learn, but probably never will.

More pictures of the recovery. Unless you've been to Poughkeepsie Gulch, it's hard to get a feel for the incline. We were the last ones in the area for the day 230p-3pm, he had professional recovery help coming, but hours away, so he was lucky we were there to assist with some daylight left...

He took a bad line, dropped the front right tire into a hole, causing the rollover. Luckily for him it was a slow, almost controlled roll, so only soft top damage.
  7. Yankee Hill, Colorado Off-Road Day

A very cool trail. There's a "hot tub" at the top that caught me off guard when I was there back in '21, didn't see it until after I fell into it, but fun to get into and out of. Miss the area.

Yeah, I thought 75% plus 100° heat was bad, but screw that.

I still need to tint my windows, in addition to the window shade. 100° + 75% humidity makes for a real breathless experience down in the RGV.

Sorry you had a bad experience with them this time, they were good for me. Their products work great.

Thought I was done for the day, but the O'Reilly's called to tell me my rear brake pads were in. They weren't what I had ordered, but one step higher, so they adjusted the price to the ones they were supposed to order, I didn't ask but was nice to see that customer service. The old pads have...

Swapped in a new set of spring correction perch pads courtesy of @WILDHOBO this morning. The stock ones had seen better days. Bonus, done before the South Texas sun bakes my brain with another 100° 77% humidity day.
  13. Anybody got a Wrangler?

Yep, 2019 JLU, wife's. I call it Rosita. Choose your trim for what comfort and features you want.
  14. Largest tires in stock wheels

35" Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 255/85R17 pizza cutters fit nicely on stock rims. I am, however, running a 3.5" lift. Mine is a Sport S, no max tow, so regular width axles.

    It does truck-ish things.

But you did return and conquer that trail later. That rock slide area and the one big off camber boulder, not to mention the almost vertical drop off, it was not an unintended trail to do solo and at night.
  17. Is manual better than 8 speed auto?

77k for mine on the recall, it showed on the vehicle inspection report as an active recall, along with the reprogram recall before that, I was getting license plates, and parts were finally available after a year waiting. Some wear, but it was really finicky before, and I would stall a couple...
  18. Is manual better than 8 speed auto?

To be fair, you CAN take the doors and top off a sports car for a similar experience, it's just more difficult to put back to factory specs after the drive. Add a throttle controller to your JT, it's a whole new world of fun. 😎
