For a 37" and running a spare, @WILDHOBO can verify that certain brands do fit in the stock tire location. He's in the same camp as I, running a 5-tire rotation, as you always know your spare is good to use if needed, and you won't be stuck somewhere waiting for a tire to be shipped in.
I've seen a post or two, think it was over on the JL forum a few years back for a filler that keeps rocks from getting lodged between the Rubicon flares and body.
