Yeah, I've been jealous of Mojave owners for a while. Just had to wait until wrecked units start showing up on eBay at reasonable prices to update mine.
Thanks to whomevers '24 Colorado Mojave caught fire. I have your steering wheel out of it, upgrading my 6+ year old steering wheel with this. Loving the black instead of the chrome surround. Just have to swap the original harness into it, and swap in the adaptive cruise blank...
I spent multiple hours in my daughter's Colorado about 2 weeks ago. There's more headroom and legroom in a Gladiator over the Colorado, I'm not short, I definitely felt that, but I didn't feel I was as squeezed into the cab on the width, I could share the center armrest, that I can't in my...
Definitely didn't read all of the 17+ pages. Stop trying to do full size stuff with a midsize truck. It's a niche vehicle. What it does, it does well. What it doesn't do well is be a full size truck with IFS. What I would like to see, better power plants, more stout drivetrain, slightly longer...
1000000000% electronic throttle is vague af. Get a throttle controller. I have the EVC unit. I use the auto setting mostly, but the Ultimate setting when I'm off-roading. You'll have much better throttle tip in and control. Makes the engine feel snappy.
Replaced the 6 year old vinyl center console that was starting to crack, with a steal of a deal new leather unit for $69. I replaced the whole unit, involving removing the back half of the center console. There's a much easier method just with the top alone. Instead of messing with the key lock...
My understanding why they're the way they are is because of blind spot monitoring and the fender flares sticking out, so the lights got moved out to compensate.
I've been running these since mid 2023, running that pressure, and excellent wear with them. I just replaced one that I damaged out in Moab, so comparing that one with the others, not a huge difference in tread wear.
Awesome, they'll keep the sides clean as long as you don't go off-road where you'll encounter large rocks as you'll tear them off, or remove a large amount of fender clips along with them.
35 years in big box retail, with Christmas starting soon after July 4th and ending January. It lost its luster for a while. I'm no longer in big box retail, and Christmas became enjoyable again.
Although the Harbor Freight Road Shock lights come with a vinyl covering, I added the corrugated wire loom and heat shrunk the ends for a more matched look to the wiring on the winch. Also did some quick touch ups on the rock rails from the last trip from Black Bear and Kane Creek.
I'm still on 35's so luckily can still fit a matching spare up underneath. I can't knock the tire, excellent traction. I've abused them a few times, and this happens.
