Today I installed the Mopar factory headliner on the front, rear, rear sides and rear black. It looks fricking awesome. Didn’t have to remove the rear top portion, with a little effort the rear goes in just fine with the roof intact. Interior is definitely quieter now and looking forward to some additional insulation this summer.
Shortly after purchase, I put in the Design Engineering Boom Mats. The instructions say to remove all panels and tops, install the headliner and leave it inverted for min 30 minutes to allow the (crazy sticky) adhesive to set. A lot of reviewers said you didn't have to if you don't mind a few wrinkles. My thought process was; the manufacturer wouldn't add in additional steps IF they didn't think it necessary; every manufacturer likes to brag their gear is easy-peasy. They say pull 'em, I pulled 'em.

I live in Texas where it gets hotter than the doorknob to Hell. I pulled all panels and roof, put in the pads and let it sit inverted for 2 hours, pressing on the pads occasionally just cuz. The last thing I wanted was for them panels to sag during the Texas summers.

We'll see.....

Hopefully you’ll be good.
I don’t know about the Boom Mats but the thing about the Mopar panels that helps from my experience is that they are kind of stiff so you can stick/slide them past the sound bar quickly without them hanging up. Then you can reach in to press in place. The other panels are not a problem because there is clearance for them.

The Wrangler AT Adventures that were on the truck when I bought it were down to 3 and 4 for tread depth, so it was time to make it look like less of a parking lot princess. I had KO2s on my gen 1 Raptor and loved them. Hoping these KO3s don't disappoint.

Those are the EXACT tires I have on my "next" list. And, I'm doing RWL out also, the guy said "going Old Skool....cool !!". It's the same place I've been buying tires for years (NTB) and he said he would sell me the K03's for the price of K02's. My used Freedom came with 265/70/17 Kenda AT2's and I do NOT like them; too noisy. But I understand why they are on the Jeep; cheap tires.

What size are those tires ? I'm considering downsizing a tad, down to 255's. I know, I know, that's against ALL Jeep logic; to go smaller tires instead of larger, but I don't plan on putting in a lift or anything, I don't plan of doing Moab or anything, most likely just a little beach crawling.

I'm an OEM kinda guy, but after I dropped the coin in buying the vehicle, I was trying to save a little money. The price of the OEM panels gave me pause. Granted, I like them and the way they looked, and they are OEM, but I had sticker shock at the time....

I'm a true believer in "buy once, cry once", but I thought I'd take a chance.

Same here but the Boom Mats for the most part have been well received so you’ll be good. The Mopar‘s look great but it needs to be weighed out individually as you so clearly stated👍

They are 275/65 R18 KO3s. Previous tires were 255/70 R18 Wrangler AT Adventures. I really wanted a little beefier stance without major poke. The diameter difference is negligible, and they're nowhere near rubbing. Only been on a couple of days, so I can't give a full report on how the compare ride-wise. Very happy so far, though.

I can't take credit for this - one of the nicest guys I've met came all the way from CO to help with the underside wire runs on my JT tonight. So now the cables are run all the way into the engine bay where I can properly terminate them and have power to the Anderson connector back there, aux connection to back up lights and USB charging ports in the bed.
That wildhobo guy stopped by and finished up after finding out I got actually physically sick laying under a vehicle and working.
My wife met him and her first comment to me after I came back in the house "he sure seems like a really nice guy" - yeah, he is - one of the best.

My wife had a bad fall today and her arm is possibly broken but we won't know more until tuesday when an orthopedic shoulder expert can see her - due to her handicap, she can't feed herself, get a drink, brush her teeth or even get dressed - her only good arm is in a sling.
Otherwise I'd have offered a spare room for the night. I forgot to ask if he would like a quilt to take back home with him - Barbara is trying to find homes for a couple and thin out the piles.......

Awesome that Dan made it out there to give you a hand, so sorry to hear about your wife though. Hope she has a quick recovery.

Wildhobo sure seems like a good guy. I'd like to wheel, or wrench with him. Glad your Gladdy is getting on its way.

Too bad about your wifey. But look on the bright side...when you slip her out of her clothes, so can't put them back on. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge!!!
Hope that wasn't too soon. After all, sometimes all we can do is laugh. Cause crying doesn't help.

Good luck to both of you.

@WILDHOBO is one of the rare ones that'll drop everything to help if it's within his abilities and proximity. I'm sorry to hear about your wife, hoping for the best.

IMO the rotor size on the JT is less of an issue. It’s that they only have two pistons in front, and one on the rear calipers. They aren’t strong enough to beat the torque of 4low.
This is a good point I was sorta shocked to find the rear only had 1 piston

In today's age, that's a little shocking, but not necessarily so.
I'm pretty sure my 02 Dodge 2500 Cummins had dual piston front and single piston rear. Had to be smaller rotors also, since it only had 16" wheels.

Finally was able to get my bed battery into a toolbox for cleaner/easier removal when needed, plus now i can put stuff on top of it. I used an old get 1 Rigid toolbox for the battery box which has the DC/DC charger, battery, and fuse block in it. Mounted two SB50 connectors for the vehicle and solar power inputs. I had all these in a wood box previously, but this is a needed update. Designed and 3D printed 4 feet and used a strap to secure it from moving around. I have 200 watts of solar on the cab and this all runs the 63qt ARB Classic fridge.
