  1. My navigation system will not load locations in Canada

Use Apple or Android Play and by-pass the internal nav system. I think I read somewhere that Canada was not included in the updates but not sure.
  2. Shop recommendation - North of Atlanta

Its a little hike (160 miles) but go see Jon at RPM Extreme in Gardendale Alabama. They do good work and he knows Jeeps better than most.
  3. Offroad Pages constantly dissapears

I have a Tazer and mine does it too. I am falling out of love with the Tazer today. It works I guess but it tries to do too much I think. Very frustrating when things like Off Road Pages goes bye-bye but it's typical of much of the JT's electronics it seems.
  4. Can you tell me what’s going on here?

Minor scrapes that invited rust in. Salt too. Clean it, scrape it, and shoot some Rustoleum undercoat on it.
  5. I have some time to decide. opinions wanted. LTX or HEMI

They are an Alabama company. Phone is I screwed up. Wrong name. Here is website: Home :: RPM Extreme Sorry for the mistake. I'm old.
  6. I have some time to decide. opinions wanted. LTX or HEMI

Yep, Jons kits are top notch and work very well. Check with him periodically on the progress. I am as well.
  7. AEV 2.5” Dualsport Caster w Mopar 2” lift kit LCA

I have AEV lift and the shop set castor at max adjustment, about same as yours. It drives perfectly with 37's.
  8. I have some time to decide. opinions wanted. LTX or HEMI

I generally agree but I have found that you can break anything if you try. Most of the carnage I see on trails was preventable with a little thought first.
  9. I have some time to decide. opinions wanted. LTX or HEMI

Not sure what to tell you here but I had a JK that I put an LS3 crate motor in with 6L80 transmission. Used RPM Supreme's conversion kit and it went perfectly. Took a little over a week of work. Got better mileage with the LS3 too. I got over 20 mpg typically with 4:88's and 35's and Jons kit...
  10. Think Im done with Jeep, guys.

Hope you will reconsider on owning a Jeep but I share your frustration. I suspect most of us do. I have a 2023 JTR and so far no problems except for the occasional "car is not in park, shift to park and then shift to gear" notice. I bought an extended warranty that I knew was undoubtedly going...
  11. Check your Straps!!

Oka, not sure its gopro but whatever camera he had it seems odd to me that it would be activated while being towed. Maybe I'm just a skeptic here but seems very odd to me.
  12. Check your Straps!!

Who in the heck puts a GoPro in record mode in a towed vehicle unless they are making a YouTube video? Something not right here.
  13. The map light upgrade…I’m happy.

Yep, I still use maps. I like the detail. I travel using them and the nav system is for keeping track of mileage to destination and so forth. Taught orienteering and land nav in Army. Use to run vehicle land nav courses with no compass, just for kicks. Never been lost but have been confused a...
  14. Indiana Bent Axles

This is why the Jeep brand is in decline. The vehicles are built for offroad and the company knows 90% will have some aftermarket changes. Now they are just screwing the buyers because they are having a tough time selling a $65,000 over priced vehicle. If you want to stay in the car business...
  15. Has anyone had problems with FOB range?

Never take the fob out of my pocket. Walk up and pull door handle and it unlocks. Push lock button on handle and it locks. Frankly, who cares what the range is as long as it works.
  16. Disabling Jeep's ability to communicate, and its implications

Forcing everyone to go electric is going to result in some very bad outcomes. As it happens, what will happen to the road taxes added to the cost of gasoline and diesel? Something has to take their place and guess what, that is going to be a tax-per-mile fee so they can pay to fix roads. The...
  17. No battery issue!

19,000 on 2023 JTR and no issues. Start stop turned off.
  18. Blind spot monitoring (front/rear collision alerts) ....deal breaker?

If you want blind spot avoidance, then use the windows the Jeep comes with to look for traffic before changing lanes. It has very good visibility for an SUV.
  19. UConnect and Phones

Apple or Samsung or Google. Monopolies have few choices. Every time I see Tim Cook or Sundar Pichai they remind me what true monopolies look like.
  20. Overlanding GPS tablet

Don't need the expensive one with cell provision. Just download your maps in the OnX ap and they work just fine on a regular ipad with wifi.
