I feel the exact same way. I drove a buick with all kinds of issues, and more the longer I drove it. No AC, power window issues all the time, hole in exhast, bottle of gumout a month or it misfired like crazy, then later broken sway bar. My kids will be getting a (at the time) 14 year old...
Good news is after I fixed mine I never ran into that issue again and I have used the plug more times since then, I am jsut really carefull now. I also detached the drivers side plug from being mounted against the wall. It seems to help me line it up better
My doors have been off for so long, I forgot that they did that even controlled that, lol. Im just hopeful for the day when somethign like core doors comes out and I never need to use that connector again.
It does surprise me though with dual doors now being an option that connector has to be...
Yep, my son is like "I want a Gladiator as my first car". I told him wont happen and he didn't understand. I was like you know how you have to wait to be 16 to drive, wait about 16 more years after that and you can get one. blew that little kids mind. lol
It honestly even blew my mind a bit...
Nope they like to bone you a lot. With the towing package, aux package, and cargo I should have gotten additional alternators for free. I paid for at least two upgraded alternators on my build.
Honestly based on that alone you could come out a decent amount ahead going aftermarket since you...
Do you have all the active safety stuff in yours? If not, honestly not much to worry about. I had an issue once where my power mirrors went out (no clue how long they were out for). Simple look in the plug and I was able to bend it back into place.
you made a good choice, I regret my Mopar cover for that reason. I use it only with the soft top and it fits about 95% of the way. I removed the carpet though almost 18 months ago and haven't seen a reason to put it back though, so a few drops of water doesn't bother me.
Hit up oracle. they had some heated LED lights in development. Might be worth it to see where those are. could be best for you to hold off if those are close to release.
Mine have been on 4 times since March, every one of those times I was towing my camper. Doors off and back window of the soft top out the rest of the time through November. The JT honestly sits Mid November through Mid March without much use. If bestop ever comes out with coredoors my...
@Radio Guy Thank you so much I had been searching and couldn't find your post. I had remembered you really working on a solid ground plane. For $30 that mount is well worth it. I have learned with this hobby its better to buy quality first. I have a collection of Baufengs and accessories...
I followed your build out, it is pretty sweet and honestly what I would look to do if my jeep had doors, lol. Glad to hear the RAM ball setup is working so well for you. You sold me on the ease of detachment there. Probably ordering the stuff for that tonight.
For the antenna mount what do...
