Installed this Red Rock tailgate trim piece. This is the 1st Jeep I've had with painted fenders and I have been trying to figure out a way to add some texture/contrast to break the color up a little. Install was easy using only 3m tape so it can be removed if I get tired of it.
Ahhh...I see what you mean. It does kind of look like that but it's just the pic. These tires have been great for a budget brand. I had one go out of round after ~10k miles. I had a local shop "true" it and haven't had any issues since.
Went to 3B Offroad Park in Eureka Springs, AR over the weekend. It was a pretty cool place but could have used better trail signs. The map app that it referred to didn't work either. Overall it was a lot of fun and gave me a chance to actually test my truck a little bit without being too...
Did the MB Quart 6x9 retrofit in the soundbar. Installed Pioneer TS6900 Pro speakers with these big ass bullet tweeters. I had to do some engineering to get the covers to fit but overall the finish turned out pretty good. The sound is amazing!! Much clearer at higher volumes than the Kicker...
Did you take your doors off when you installed it or around that time? Could be a bent pin in the door wire harness not telling your dash that the door is open.
Nice rig! I haven't taken any super long trips but pull mine 100-200 miles at a time with a lowboy on fairly flat terrain. I pulled the same rig with my 3.6 and now my EcoD. I didn't have any issues with the 3.6 and the MPG dropped to around 10. The EcoD handles it much better with ~15 MPG.
Diesel is a distilled product from crude but all crude is not the same. West TX Intermediate and Canadian crude are both lighter(~30 API) and sweeter (<sulfur/H2S) than Venezuelan/Russian crude which are ~15-20 API and high sulfur/H2S. The lighter/sweeter crude yield more gasoline and lighter...
Did the lift come with adjustable CA's? Drop brackets will definitely help with the angle of your CA's which will give you a smoother ride. If you don't adjust your lower front CAs when you add the drop brackets then it will also add Caster by rotating the bottom of the axle out. The bracket...
I ran 22x10's with 37's & 40's on my '20 gasser and now have 20x12 with 40's on my diesel. I had/have no issues. The wider the wheel/more backspacing you have, the quicker your ball joints will wear but if you're not doing much offloading even that won't be much of an issue.
