    So even with a kitted out build, if gas mileage is the goal, you’d stick with the lowest gear ratio offered from the factory? Do you think the engine would still be able to maintain 65-75 up I-70 at 11,000 feet? I’m guessing yes.

    Yep, that’s what I meant. I don’t tow anything. Just have very different day to day weight vs backcountry weight.

    Thanks for starting this thread. It will help me decide which gears to order the diesel with from the get go. I will more than likely have 37s with an Alu-Cab Canopy Camper, Longer Ranger Aux tank if ever available, and at least 20+ gallons of permanent water.....plus all the normal gear and food.

    Thoughts on using Airlift with dual wireless controllers for managing the varying weight between unladen everyday commute and heavily laden backcountry travel? Plus, thoughts on using the same dual control set to help in leveling at remote location? Overkill maybe, but would it work?

    Ha! Haven’t bought either yet. Just making plans, weighing options. Blah, Blah. I’ve got 3.5years before I have another driver in the house, so I’m laying out my evil plan early. Probably officially l put in my order in 2.5 to 3 years.

    Just found out the hood, cowel, and corner cowel pieces are VERY different. They are raised quite a bit. I'm wondering if someone might be willing do a Mojave to Rubicon swap. I'd much prefer the Rubicon or even Sahara hood and sub pieces to the Mojave units.

    What about Jounce Pads, Metal Cs on the axle, and beefed up frame sections. I want to go the other way and create a Mojavicon. Add all the missing Rubicon stuff to a mojave. I'm guessing someone out there would be willing to swap hoods/cowel for a Rubicon Hood/Cowel.

    Sadly I’m not familiar enough to know if it currently has the Gen3 and your just having fun, or if that is indeed the hopeful next gen??? If the later, is there any rumors about it?
