  1. Future Engine for the Gladiator....guesses

What's everyone's guess on future engines for the Gladiator? With the Bronco's engines and other competitors upping the game, what will jeep add or change in the engine line up? V8 maybe in the next 6-12monts? Inline 6 with forced air? Something total different? Any valid ideas?
  2. Wait or not to wait for 2021 model

I hope they maintain a Gator and Gobi color for the next 5 years. Once my son turns 16, he gets my LJ and I'm buying myself a JT. Definitely want Gator or Gobi.
  3. Brakes: Max Tow vs Rubicon

This helps as well. I would like to keep the numbers high.
  4. Brakes: Max Tow vs Rubicon

That has to be one of the most precise and articulate explanation I've seen for a reply in a while. Thank you so much for the details. That was exactly what I was looking for. This will indeed aid me in my decision on which model fits my needs. Thank you, Beowulf
  5. Brakes: Max Tow vs Rubicon

It seems many of the Max Tow items can be spec'd on the Rubicon. However, I'm wondering about the brakes. Is there difference between the front or rear brakes? If they are bigger on the Max Tow, can a Rubicon be upgraded? Do we know what brakes come on the Mojave?
  6. Building a Mojavicon: Adding Lockers and Swaybar to a Mojave

As long as the shocks can support about 1.5” more height it should work. The Mojave is supposed to ride 1” higher than the Rubicon. If I have to sell the shocks, so be it. I’m more interested in the things that are harder to upgrade, as in all the stuff done to frame and mounts
  7. Mojave is now available to build on Jeep.com!

I'd gladly pay more if the front locker was an option to add. Front sway would be nice, but TerraFlex and OffRoadOnly will have options. The only other thing missing is the rear corner guards. All easy to add. I started a thread about building a Mojavicon. The question is what is there on...
  8. Building a Mojavicon: Adding Lockers and Swaybar to a Mojave

tampahoosier, Thank you for the reminder of the rear corner guards. I too want those. At the moment, I'm leaning at just using OEM Mopar steel bumpers. I like the looks and I'm guessing they are lighter than most everything else on the market. As strong, probably not, but will meet my...
  9. Building a Mojavicon: Adding Lockers and Swaybar to a Mojave

Sadly only wider due to a different offset on the wheels. Same width axles......I believe.
  10. Building a Mojavicon: Adding Lockers and Swaybar to a Mojave

I’ve thought about, but just want to try something different.
  11. Building a Mojavicon: Adding Lockers and Swaybar to a Mojave

I’m wondering the same thing, but it would not be hard to mount that reservoir somewhere else.
  12. Building a Mojavicon: Adding Lockers and Swaybar to a Mojave

I had planned on regearing anyways when I go with 37s.
  13. Building a Mojavicon: Adding Lockers and Swaybar to a Mojave

I really like all the updates to the Mojave, but still want the OEM sway bar disconnect and front locker. What are the chances, the wiring harness is the same? Also, wondering if the fox reservoir location would impede the installation of the OEM swaybar disconnect. Items needed? Sway bar...
  14. Jeep JT-30 Ursa Minor

I saw an instagram post by Ursa mentioning something like the JL's Ursa Minor top for the JT bed was next on their list of new products. Has the group heard any rumors, or know more about this?
  15. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

So does it look possible to put the sway bar disconnect on it?
  16. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

I’d be ok if they offered this as upgrade options on the Rubicon. ?Do you want a beefed up frame? Yep. ?Do you want cast Knuckles? Yep. Sadly, the JTR is already expensive enough. Retiring is overrated anyways.
  17. Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition! [Updated With Live Pics and Chassis/Suspension Breakdown]

I remember this being mentioned when the Gladiator was first shown. One of the Jeep Engineers mentioned it. But, I believe Tazer takes care of that. I'm sure it has been mentioned in these 18 pages, but I want a Mojavicon. Give me the beefed up frame and knuckles, put a front locker on it...
  18. Gladiator Podcast by Overland Journal

A very good podcast about using the Gladiator as an Overland Platform. https://expeditionportal.com/podcast-7-building-a-jeep-gladiator-for-overlanding/
  19. Wait or not to wait for 2021 model

Do we know if gator and gobi will be offered next year?
