  1. Mojave - think I'm done for a bit.

ok I may have misrepresented the truth a bit. As an experiment, I added some 1.75 inch Synergy wheel spacers. Quality seemed very good on these, but I still felt a little sketchy installing them. We'll see if we stick with them, looks nice I think.
  2. Just got the latest in Winch technology

Kinda my thinking, thanks for an actual experience example.
  3. Just got the latest in Winch technology

Agreed but I'm pretty mild in my off roading and seldom alone, this at least gives some capability.
  4. Just got the latest in Winch technology

Tow straps, just not the stretchy/kinetic ones
  5. Just got the latest in Winch technology

Been doing freestyle for several years never had a need, and of the people I know that are more serious than me have never even used the winches they have... would be a lot of money and weight to haul around just in case, at least for me.
  6. Just got the latest in Winch technology

I haven't either yet, but I'm not willing to get a powered winch but still want some kind of recovery option if I find myself alone and stuck.
  7. Just got the latest in Winch technology

That’s right, the Come Along Winch. No installation needed, no power draw from our vehicles, and no aftermarket bumpers required, just 10,000 lbs of muscle ,11.5 feet at a time. $49.99 vs $1000.00 Nuff said..
  8. Let's have a conversation about inflation...

To each their own, but I find that blend extremely hard to find and argon is an overrated gas that is not really effective for lifted vehicles.
  9. Mojave - think I'm done for a bit.

It seems you California folks have some of the best wheeling environments, great scenery. Love the yellow.
  10. Mojave - think I'm done for a bit.

Good stuff there, love the bed rug. Really keen on keeping this thing light, so bumpers and winches are off the table.
  11. Mojave - think I'm done for a bit.

Re-gearing would seem to be the consensus thing to do. Here is my case study with my stock weight truck and light/smallish 37s. 1. I seem to be in 8th as much as before on flats and slight inclines. 2. It will still break pavement now in 1st if I turn traction control off. 3. It's still fun to...
  12. Quadratec Diver Down Neoprene Seat Covers ??

I got some of these for my JL, red and black, durable but they did fade a bit over the first summer but I often had the top off. I didn't get it, but the center console cover was extra at that time.
  13. Color Remorse

We could start a Taco Fleet.
  14. Mojave - think I'm done for a bit.

You got deeper pockets than me, lol, including my getting the wrong tire error early on, I have about 4K into this.
  15. Mojave - think I'm done for a bit.

First, this is my experience (there are a plethora of other opinions). Ride feels like stock, did add the longer mopar lower control arms but not the relocation brackets...again I feel no difference from stock in driving /riding feel plus I don't like how they look from the side. With the...
  16. Paint Issues on new Gladiator

Here's hoping some detailing guru on here has something to add
  17. Mojave - think I'm done for a bit.

As long as I don't admit it, I don't have a problem, get with the program.
  18. Paint Issues on new Gladiator

I had a spot or 2 of that but not to that degree. From what I understand it can be from the railroad trip it may have taken from the factory...big metal train on metal tracks creates iron glitter and if the vehicle is wet when it happens...minute rusty spot.
  19. Mojave - think I'm done for a bit.
