I have to admit my expectations were not high here, was not familiar with Z8 (Front & Rear Fender extensions) and kinda expected a bust, but the price was right so I rolled the dice. I was pleasantly surprised, seems to be a good quality plastic that matches the Jeeps', they fit strong and look...
I have that lift on my 2 door JL for 3 years now. It's simple, gives you a bit of a bump but doesn't impact much else, it would probably be perfect with the longer mopar LCAs
After a year of ownership, my Gladiator has been the most reliable vehicle I've owned. Zero issues, no trips to the dealership..couldn't say that about the Toyotas and Hondas I've owned
Experiences vary.
I have a '23 Mojave, at night, the footwell lights are on. They will dim with the dash lights, but never go off....anyone experience this? In my jl they go off with the interior lights when you close the door.
A suggestion from someone that has done this and is price sensitive , get the AEV for Mojave lift and add the Mopar slightly longer lower control arms (Part Number: 68322798AA) $80 for the pair.
I did not go with the geo brackets, it drives just like stock to me...maybe hold off on that part...
Lol, I did this before I installed my aev lift, pretty much on the nose, not much guess work with a spacer lift, if its 2inches you get 2 inches. It might sit a little higher for an hour or so since you will be decompressing the springs for the install and it can take a bit for it to settle.
That is a good cautionary tale, lol. If something like that happens to me, I will be buying a real winch the next day. Bush Winches has another device that fits to the hub. Them Australians be crazy :) actually I think at one point many military trucks/jeeps had something like this
Thanks, I have other gear thats part of this, traction boards, kenetic rope and straps. Plus I hate the idea of hauling around all that weight on the nose for something that at my level of wheeling, I will likely never use.
I got one size up from the smallest, might want to go one up from there. I like them, easy to remove, bendy and I've had a pair on my JL for 3 years and after a wash still look new. And I have an AEV 2 inch lift on it.
