Thanks Mike. It sounds like you put the larger spacer under the clamp nearest the tailgate? Is that correct, in some other pictures it appears that some people put them even further back which is what I was trying to get my head around. Appreciate the link and the information!
Thanks to everyone that has posted in this thread with updated information and fixes. The first batch of caps finally made it out to the west coast and just installed mine this weekend and not surprisingly I ran into the same issue that everyone else has with the tailgate clearance.

For those that are interested, I reached out to Armorlite support asking if they are planning on a JT release, response below:
"We sure are! This model is expected to launch early next year. You can sign up for our mailing list at goarmorlite.com, to receive updates and pre-order info on the JT...
JCR Molle panels with BuiltRight rails. Easy enough to install, retains the stock cargo tie down locations and seem plenty strong for anything that you would reasonably attach to a molle panel.
FWIW I chose the JCR Offroad panels because they mount behind the rails and do not take up space on...
Thanks Jeremy, this looks great and agreed on the not drilling too many holes. The one thing that may require some thought depending on the actual width of the bracket is that the SPOD Bantams route accessory feeds from the bottom of the unit up into each side, if the bracket is wider than the...
If this works with the Genesis dual battery and an SPOD (or something similar) fits on the bracket with the compressor this could be a really cool solution... super clean and functional.
I think the BuiltRight panels are actually better looking, but the JCR panels mount behind the bed rails and the BuiltRight panels mount on the bed rails. I wanted the extra flexibility for mounting a bed rack or other items in the bed since I haven't come up with a final decision there, most...
Not sure if this helps or not, but here's the BuiltRight rails with the JCR Offroad front MOLLE Panel for reference. The JCR panel mounts behind the rail as opposed to the BuiltRight that mounts to the rail.
I didn't get a response from the form on the website either but @RSI North America Inc has been super responsive to DMs on this forum and I've got a pre-order in with a dealer now.
I don't think I'm covering any new ground here but figured there might be people with questions about the setup and how it looks so here you go...

Saw another Gladiator out on the trail (Black looked mostly stock) and chatted for a few minutes. If you are on the forums looking forward to hearing how the lift and bigger tires/wheels works for you.
Don't see too many Gladiators out and about around here... great to see one in the wild.
