Thinking outside the box here. Could be the cold causes metal contacts for the battery to loosen enough to prevent operation. Battery condition wouldnāt matter in that case
Not yet. I was late for another appointment but that thought crossed my mind. I did recall a similar instance with another car. My cobra took six quarts and the dealer (Same company) said they added five quarts. They actually added six.
Reviving this thread with my recent experience.
Got my first oil Jeep Wave change yesterday. Here's what the work description on the receipt said:
"6 Qt. 5W-20 synthetic oil"
Wrong on two counts. From the above discussion, I guess one extra quart is no big deal. And since I'm in Southern...
I live in a state that prohibits internet sale of warranties. But I called Moapr and was referred to another Mopar agent who offered me the same price as available on the web. Quite reasonable if you want to but the warranty.
^^^^^^^
Dealer warranties are overpriced scams. When I bought the JTM it was priced at around $6K and I refused it. You can still buy a Mopar warranty. I bought mine five months after purchase of the JTM at about 1/3 of the dealer price.

You can think of the trailer outlet as an extension of the battery terminals to the rear bumper. It's the same as connecting the battery minder to the battery with aligator clips. The good thing is the outlet isn't controlled by the ignition switch like some other vehicles.
Yep. Always live. My setup: Battery Minder, cigarette lighter adapter with SAE connector, Pollack 7 pin plug. I had to add a #10 AWG extension cable to make it easier to route the cables from the garage to driveway. No effect on voltage. Thanks to @ShadowsPapa for the suggestion.
Even better if you have the trailer outlet on the rear bumper. See post #10. Why mess around under the hood unless Iām missing something?

Not sure about your model year but on my 2023, if you step on the brake momentarily and release it will downshift. It helps to set your dash screen to display the current gear so you can confirm the downshift. @ShadowsPapa mentioned this in another thread. Iāve tried it and it works. Iāve gone...
