It's not much more to just toss in a proper 2.5" spacer lift (with other proper parts like extended sway bar links, etc...), and go with 37x12.50r17's on stock wheels... And some 37x12.50's are nearly as light as most 35's out there, so you don't lose much performance, at all. Especially after...
I highly recommend the Kumho Road Venture MT KL71 tires that I run on my JTR.
The new Kumho Road Venture MT71 tires are also very nice. They also offer them in a 35x12.50r17.
I got mine from @Discount Tire here on the forum. They're a forum sponsor, so they give us great prices! I'd check...
Be advised, the lower control arms in that lift are NOT adjustable. That seems very pricey for a kit that is not adjustable. Just making sure you're away of that. I don't think I'd spend that much on a lift that's non-adjustable. Personal thoughts...
Sorry, been gone on an involuntary 7-day vacation for the last week because someone thought it was ok to be a hypocrite and temp-ban me.
Anyway...
You have to turn it on while the vehicle is turned on. You scroll to the bluetooth or radio tower image no your EVIC, and then push the...
If someone were to offer a 3.6L rebuild kit with the twin turbos that was identical to the Maserati version, for an affordable price (say, less than $10K total) that would be a HUGE and popular upgrade for all 3.6L owners everywhere. And with those kind of numbers, it would be a drop-in...
The new Kumho Road Venture MT71 is a nice tire. I run their KL71 tires on my JTR, and they are great. almost 5,000 miles and still look brand damn new. I got mine from @Discount Tire
They make them in a 35x12.50r17... Only $277 a tire...
Suspension stuff I go to Northridge 4x4. For external accessories, Quadratec. Bumpers and stuff, I search eBay for the cheapest deal, if no deal, then I buy from a distributor like 4WheelParts, Northridge, Quadratec, etc... For interior stuff, I google search, and see if Amazon has it first...
I agree, but that's what the article says... Just saying, if it IS that cheap...Mine will be getting traded in for the exact same truck I have now, just with a 6.4 Hemi... And I will swap over all my accessories.
Well, the "live functions" aren't for hydraulics, but they are quite nice... Like "Winch Mode" where it raises the RPMs at the push of a button to keep alternator charging the battery at full juice... Turn-cam (turns your backup cam on when you use your turn signals), and lots of other...
Yes, you're going to need a lot more parts than just a spacer for raising the front up 2.5 inches...
Take a look at this thread, and this lift, and other than the rear spacers, this is what all you need to properly lift the front of a JT 2.5"...
Get the Jeep/Mopar all-weather floor mats with the drain plugs in them. Worth every penny! I found mine on eBay for like $120 back in March when I first got my JTR.
Basically, you would only save about 11 lbs. going with stock wheels over the 20x10 wheels I went with, if you went with the same size tires. You won't even notice that.
Not really... Stock Rubicon 17x7.5" wheels weigh around 22 lbs. each. My 20x10 wheels weigh 33 lbs. each. Not as much difference as one would think...
So I went up 31 lbs per corner (11 wheel, 20 tire), and with the 4.10 gears, I really didn't notice much of a difference with the iDrive and...
@Discount Tire is a forum sponsor here. You might try sending them a PM and contacting them directly. They can probably help you with it, if the tires are new, and newer been installed.
