First did you reprogram the tipm for leds with a tazer or other programer?
Drls are made to be on all the time, and will be on any time ignition is on, unless ebrake is on(ebrake may not effect aftermarket drls)
The directional issues sounds like a faulty light assembly, are they are name...
I tried the rugged ridge windshield ones... They sucked. Constantly loosened up and dropped down while driving. And would have definitely stripped the threads if tightened more. They would also definitely interfere with soft doors opening as well.
I never did get soft doors so I ended up...
37s and 4.10s since the week I bought it. Daily driver, no issues. Stays in the 16-17mpg range
Would a little more gear be nice? Probably but it's not worth the cost for me...(if I ever actually wheeled it I would regear)
Hmmm...I ALWAYS set my parking brake. I wonder if it won't happen with out it for me as well.
I haven't looked, are these drum-in-hat or caliper ebrake?
1)not sure as I've never used the built 8n amp

So if youre out topless and the weather changes you rather drive home in the rain, than pull over and either 10 seconds to get out and flip it closed, or 3 minutes to get it out of the bed and on?.....
...Just one reason...
My hard top comes off around Easter and goes in THE BACK of my garage...
Exactly what I do too, ZERO issues with the functionality of the soft top. Do I wish it folded all the way back to the bed, of course! But it doesn't. And its literally 3-4 minutes to get it completely off or on
I never had any issues on the highway with mine...but I took the time to adjust them as best I could. (that includes tweaking the tops inward so they had pressure on the seals when closed)
I had them on my JK, and they're we're good. But they aren't a 100% weather tight. They keep the rain out well but will usually have a small drip or seep(depending how well you line them up.
They will fit as good as you willingness to adjust them for a good fit.
I haven't got them for the JT...
Not sure those will bolt up to the JL/JT.
surely won't work with the door check installed.
Have you tried just unbolting the door check? It gives a good bit more travel
I'd be more interested in a top cover plate for the arcus. That opening is huge
I just bought a cheap fairlead license plate mount(since I need a front plate here) to cover the front opening
Yea I get a little water pooled in the rear most section and even less in the other two. But to me that doesn't matter at all, it doesn't leak in and it rolls off as I back out of my driveway.
