Honestly it's perfect for me, I had the same one in my JK.
Phone stays in place & doesn't shake. Perfect spot to see and use a short cord to charge from media hub.
They say it doubles as a cup holder but I don't think I'd try that.
It depends what brands you buy. Some have the proper resistance built in and some you have to activate the led option in the TIPM with tazer/jscan or other unit(or pay the dealer to do it)
Brand new pair of 7in truck light led head lights with heaters.
Selling for a friend. He bought them for his JL, installed then immediately removed. He hated the look of the adapter rings. (He already sold the adapters)
He paid $650 with tax and what not.
Asking $550
$50 isn't a lot when you consider it's an entire RF sensor(or are they BT at this point??)
It's like when people bitch about the price of aftermarket upgrades. There's R&D, manufacturing, distribution, warranty precautions, and then the usual retail mark up. It's not JUST a valve stem.
That...
Good to know there's other options coming out for people to choose from.
What about control for the factory aux switches, and automatic cold weather heated seats/wheel ?
If you have a tonneau cover you could just lay the window and quarters on a moving blanket or towel in the bed
Or lay it on the back seat and fold the top halfs down over it
Or buy the bag...
All in,(like you do) or all out is how it's supposed to be run according to the owners manual.
I was just saying I haven't had an issue off highway. Not sure I'd risk leaving the corners in without the window on the highway, especially when they take 2 seconds to pop out
They are meant to be put in the bag with the window. The elastic loops at each end hold them.
I leave them in a lot too and just remove the window. I know they are "supposed" to be taken off but around town I haven't had a problem.
Takes just a couple minutes to pull it apart
A trim stick (plastic) helps but isn't necessary
And a 7mm socket on a screw gun.
Start to finish was maybe 15 min
Yea the lights mount front the inside. That goes for factory lights as well.
It's not a big deal, it takes less than 5 minutes to remove each fender
Technically you could do it with the fender still on the truck but it would be massive pain in the ass and probably take 3x as long
Yea mines a max tow as well, don't think that matters as far as switching to LEDs.
But as far as I can tell they are not connected (front/rear) if they were there would be separate settings for switching front and rear to LED in the tazer and other programmers
I changed my front signals only, flashed with tazer and have no issues related to the rear....not sure why some say they're connected but maybe it's different if you only change the rear, for some reason??
