For what it’s worth, I’m not convinced it was the actual crossing of wires that did it. I had also been poking a coat hanger through the grommet that carries all the critical wires through the firewall on the passenger side. I think I actually cut into the wires that ultimately got repaired to...
Love it!

Happy to see that Jeep is working with existing aftermarket companies to integrate these products into offerings through Mopar versus developing a competing product that harms the aftermarket.
Just coincidence and not correlation. I (as well as others have stated) did not install one light to test. I installed both before using them. I didn't immediately have the issue the first time I turned it on. Mine showed up on the next trip I took. First one turn signal said it was out...
I don't know about the rest of you, but I prefer my 96" tires on a 15" rim. Those big rims are just too gaudy for me. I can't get any sidewall flex out of that.
I blocked off every hole between the dividers in the dash tray and never had a defrost issue during the Minnesota winters. So much air leaks past them that it's not really an issue for the center while still directing more heat to the sides where you need it.
How many times do you need all 4 wheels off the ground? I can jack up each wheel individually and drop a jack stand under each one for a lot less that that thing. Neat idea, just don't know that I'd get the money out of it. I can fit underneath my JTR without jacking it up for fluids and...
While it certainly could be from something dragging on the rotor I fail to see how replacing all that fixes the problem. The pads and/or it's hardware should not be dragging on the rotors. If it is, then something else is wrong.
Brakes are an incredibly easy thing to replace and you might be...
People coming from halogens are having worse problems than those coming from LEDs in some cases in regards to the built in reverse lights not working. The resistors are only for the taillights. To my knowledge, the only issue LED users have had are a hyper-flashing dash turn signal indicator...
I think a big part of it is that you can't just slide these in and toss the screws in. If you do that you will likely have large gaps. You really need to pull these towards the front of the vehicle while pushing in towards the side then hold them in place like that while screwing the mounting...
Only because you mention this has been off road, I would guess there is a small rock stuck between the rotor and brakes. I had this happen to me. You might be able to see a wear mark on the rotor if this was the case. (Could be on the back side too).
If not that, perhaps it is a wheel weight...
Yeah, a programmer would certainly help. I was kind of hoping there would be some solution that did not require one. I'm not sure exactly how the tailight system works but I would assume some resister could be put inline that would make the Jeep think the voltage is the same as factory. I...
The ace sliders only use the body bolts because the factory rock rails stay in place and are covering up the pinch seam. Other sliders would replace the factory rock roils as well as add the protection that the ace sliders provide and utilize both the pinch seam and body or rock rail bolts.
I...
Replying to the fitment part here. A number of people are reporting less than ideal fitment. While fitment is not horrible, it's poor enough that this many people notice it. There is certainly something to be said about variance in the vehicle itself as it seems like @j.o.y.ride has the...
Yep, I spent quite a while trying to get the fitment better on the drivers side too. I think my top nut clip is almost or is stripped but still holds tight. I filed a relief for the problem screw after noticing there are a couple of existing relief's in the sheet metal from the factory...
