No, If you had factory LEDs then you should not be using the resistor. Using it will not solve the problem. Currently, the only solution for Factory LEDs that have issues is to use a programmer. Oracle is working on some fix for LED customers.
Hm. I don't drive much at night (or when it's generally dark out) so I can't say I've experienced that. Hopefully there will be some more permanent solution from Oracle soon.
You don't need to set the rear LED stuff to deactivated. All of that can remain as it was factory. You need to disable the rear turn signal diagnostic signal in the US->Euro conversion menus.
See this post. Someone else found this out by contacting JSCAN...
My guess is they are probably referencing this one. But this doesn't seem to apply to newer vehicles as @cotnballs2000 pointed out.

Dieselhub says the spec was CJ-4 through 2019 (which Rotella T6 meets) but changed for 2020...
This is exactly the type of service that should be mandatory. There really is no excuse for not having this standard level of device. The last time I took my truck in they didn’t bother informing me until I got there that they would need to keep it overnight. No offer of a loaner or if I...
I was actually pretty disappointed by their black Friday offerings this year. Each year the discount seems to be going down.
This is the pre-black friday thread for 2020 but I think it was 10% back in a prepaid card for BF as well...
I don't think it's out of bounds to think poorly of something as a whole based on an experience with one aspect of it. If I had a bad experience with a sales team, why would I ever think my experience would be different in the service department?
Should the reverse hold true? If I've had...
Unfortunately, I don't think this is limited to your dealer. I remember seeing a few in the Roof Leak thread (https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/roof-leak-in-back.25332/) that had a similar experience. Dealers have a glass company come to do the replacement and in some cases the...
Yup, your thread title specifically '@'ing' a single user on this forum surely implies that this is a thread for all to discuss a long since discontinued color.
The Gladiators wheelbase is nearly 20 inches longer than the JLU. No real comparison. The wheelbase is more a limiting factor than departure angle with the JT. While interesting, a bed bob is really more of a novelty/niche that some could do.
I ended up breaking down and getting JSCAN. I have a factory LED and you need to do this process to fix the hyper flash and stuff:
Load up JSCAN, go into Adaptions. Go to “Lights Conversion -> US to EURO”
Then find the left and right rear diagnostic settings:
Start with one side, set...
