When I read this I thought mine used the entire screen. When I was backing up today I saw that it was like yours. I don’t have the zoom button in the margin though. Never paid much attention to it I guess. It is what it is IMO.
I got a JKS lift with front LCAs and front track bar for $1200 thanks to my mechanic ordering the parts. AEV is too damn high at $1600 considering it leaves those parts out.
As far as #2 goes, did you make sure the tire size was measured and entered exactly as they sit mounted on your JT? When I got 35s I just put in “35” height and it shifted wonky. My 35s actually measured around 33.8 mounted with 32 PSI. It shifts great now.
A buddy of mine with three kids just bought a Honda Odyssey. Say what you will about a minivan, but that thing is NICE! I wouldn’t want one, but how far would you go for comfort?
The AEV spacer lift comes with it. Maybe those guys who have this kit can comment. I would imagine the setup is good to go since AEV puts one out with their name on it.
Thanks. Those numbers are about what I’m looking for. I rarely drive 80, so that sounds like it would put 70 in a good spot. Right around where 70 in 7th is now.
3.73s with 35s are fine. You’ll lose the use of 8th gear for the most part, but it is what it is. That’s the only downside I have noticed. Just do it and regear later if you feel it is necessary. No need to buy tires twice or put off 35s when you know you reallllly want them now.
You have to slow down, prioritize, and budget unless you have shit tons of spare cash to play with. Don’t buy stuff on a whim just to hate it later. I did that on my JK and it’s expensive.
1. I’m no suspension expert, but I’m pretty sure the springs and shocks are what make or break the ride...
I’m 6’5 with long legs and I can sit behind my driver seat (all the way back). It’s not the most comfortable, but it works. Go load the family up for a test drive and see how it goes.:like: It’s definitely not a full size truck, but for us it has plenty of room.
