Pitman arm is not necessary until praobably 4" or more. even then there are better options. An adjustable track bar is more important on the front.
No issue with skid plates or guards at 3.5"
I cant speak for sure on the max tow, but I'm 95% sure 35's will clear with no issue on a 3.5" lift...
If your unsure, check out Custom Offsets. I get our shop truck tire sets through them. They ask specific questions, and can tell you how they will fit. We have gotten sets for a 2020 Ram3500, and a 2017 silverado 1500. Both fit great off of their calculator. Just might be something to look into.
Spring rate and style of coil are the only thing going to help with bottoming out. Good shocks will only mask the issue. Also what tires ae you running? Our willies gasser was ridiculous on the clunky Firestone MT garbage Stellantis puts on them. I didn't know if they put the same on the...
Im running a 3" Jspec kit. factory rear track bar. (no alignment issue) less than a 1/4" difference side to side. I run the JKS front adjustable to correct the offset. I am not sure why the rear is not as affected as the front, both on the earlier JKU we had and now the JT, but my experience has...
I looked at the Mopar lift, but to get to where I wanted, (37's without fender modification) it was going to be difficult. That, and JKS is far superior in build quality. the adjustable lca's give me the option for higher later if I want. Those are the factors that steered me away from the mopar 2"
For anyone following that wanted to see it done (for now) here it is.
3" Jspec jventure lift
Jks adjustable front loweres
Jks adjustable track bar up fron
Tazer mini
hub centric 1.75 spacers to run the 37's on staock whels. Clears all four corners and tucks great
full size spare underneath (had...
37's on factory willys wheels. Specifically why we ordered the willys package. I am running a hubcentric 1.75 spacer on it. clears at full lock and full tuck. 3" jspec lift. I run the tires at 30 psi, probably going to drop to 26 once we shake it down some.
To common that dealers lift jeeps? My dealership literally only sells them all completely stock. When I asked about the mopar lift they actually were surprised in the parts dept that it was even offered through mopar. They deffinatly are not about modifieing their vehicles.
Setting up or 22 gladiator with Ko2's. They run small, which is well noted on this forum. 37x12.50 is actually 36x12 mounted and aired up, not on the jeep. We ran them on my wifes 16jku the whole time we had it. Its her daily here in west Michigan. Ko2's do fantastic in the winter, and great in...
Possibly, but I've dealt with these guys for quite a while now. Multiple vehicles. I mainly just never count on FCA/stellantis or any other manufacturer to actually take care of their product. Plan for out of pocket, and if they cover it great, if not, so be it.
For sure do NOT get hung up on the ujoint angle. As long as your caster is set right your good to go. Any time you lift a vehicle the driveshaft operates at a greater angle, its part of it. With the amount a lift your describing, you wont prematurely wear out your joints. Caviat beiing, if you...
First off, my dealer is great. I order most of our work trucks through them. So when my wife and I wanted to replace our 2016 JKU we obviously went with my local dealer. We ordered the Gladiator on Feb 8th, and it came in this Monday, March 21st. I picked it up, and drove home. We took it on a...
