I have the AEV 2" space lift with the correction brackets and 35's. Wanted to keep the stock suspension (which is built into the extra cost of the Mojave) for now. Works for what I do. The other kits on your list are alot more expensive and extensive in what comes with them. I don't think...
Yes, let's do that! Sounds like you have the same thing going on. Noticed yours is '21 Mojave as well. I've had a few other electrical issues with it - one being a bad power/communication lead to the transmition control module from the big electrical connecter behind the passenger wheel well...
I have a Innova scanner that I cleared the codes with after replacing the wheel speed sensor. The dealer also cleared it once for me the first time I took it there and they could not replicate the issue. It was not doing it all of the time at that time. Had gone 50 miles without a trouble...
Appreciate that! Yeah, I sometimes I miss the obvious. Steering wheel is straight. I remember going through all of that when I put my lift on and the front camera freaked out thinking I was in a slide before I re-centered the streering wheel.
Sorry for the long post, but feel I need to put in some context on the chance it matters to my issue.
Was wheeling in MOAB last month - Top of the World. What a trail! And my Mojave (35" tires with 2" lift) made it to the top. Just as I got there, a bunch of lights came on:
ABS
Service 4wd...
There is no TPS in the spare in the gladiator (at least my '21 does not have it). Not sure if it would read the spare while it was stowed if you added one. Are you running a matching wheel for your spare? Mine came with a plain steel wheel (unlike the wrangler), so I don't see doing a 5-wheel...
I think in some repects, cracked glass due to road debris is something every jeep owner may have to deal with at some point. That flat windshield certainly seems to deflect less - simple physics I guess.
I am on my third windshield. Found a good local shop that replaces them for $300 out the...
I didn't weigh it, but shipping weight was listed at 190 lbs. Felt a little less than that. The winch added another 30-40 lbs. So I bet I added roughly 200 lbs to the front of my jeep. Really haven't noticed any squat - but I did not measure things beforehand or afterwards. I think Mojaves...
Nothing extra. The beefy winch plate is part of the bumper. Pretty thick too - almost 3/8". Had to use longer bolts and cut them down a little to custom fit them to get enough bite into the nuts in the winch bottom. No issues with fog lights. ARB gives you the mounting brackets for both the...
After searching the forums and much hand-wringing, I finally pulled the triger on a steel bumper for my Mojave. I ordered the "ARB Classic Deluxe"... I know it sounds like a hamburger order at the drive-through. I guess those Aussies have a way with words ?
While I was at it, I ordered a...
I must admit that I am drawn to some of the "fun" jeep colors. But... is it weird of me to think not so much for a daily driver. Plus, I don't want to be that memorable to folks when I am out driving the way I sometimes do :)
I currently own a '21 Mojave. We are wanting to get into overlanding, specifically towing an off-grid camper around. I am worried about the towing (not capacity, but grunt) power and mpg of the 3.6 up and down the mountain passes. Wondering if a diesel would be the way to go. Have been...
Nice thing about the Borah is you can run it as a non-beadlock to. Just depends on what trim ring you use and how that outer tire bead is mounted. So you get the best of both worlds.
I vote for the truetrac LSD. Isn't that a gear driven LSD vs the OEM clutch pack one? My guess is it will last you a long time. My experience with my JK is having an LSD is well suited in the daily driver/mild trail world.
And putting in an E-locker upfront someday sounds like a good plan as...
Had my windshield replaced last year at a local shop. Didn't do a calibration since the whole camera assemply is not disturbed when they replace the windshield. That being said, I've since read that the thinkness or refraction of the replacement glass, if it is different, may be why the...
If you drive in any sort of bumper to bumper or slow moving traffic at all, go with the Auto. I had a manual JK and loved it - until I hit the city and traffic. Pain - especially with my older joints these days! But, nothing like rowing through the gears (and control) on the road when you...
Had the same issue with my 2021 Mojave early on - not as early as yours! Dealer replaced both downstream sensors even though only one was throwing the code. Was told it was known issue with some and that they replaced both to prevent any problems. Sounds like (at least for me) there was a bad...
