The nighthawk gets wide track axles, that's at least something right?
To me, it would make more sense to swap the wide track axles from the nighthawk and give them to the big bear edition(which doesn't get them for some reason)
Actually, at this point I dont understand why all Gladiators dont...
I'm all for them redesigning the gladiator, as long as it remains based off of the wrangler, has solid axles and non-integrated fenders. I feel like integrated fenders will make fitting larger tires much harder and trail damage that much more expensive.
It seems like Jeep wants to jump on the...
Chances are if I'm driving my JT its to the trail head, I love my Ko2s off-road performance. I really like that when you air them down they really flatten out and fold over obstacles. You get a huge contact patch when you air Ko2s down. I've seen tests online where other tires don't benefit from...
I don't really mind it, since I can turn it off whenever I want. However I dont really like that the aux battery can cause problems even if I never use the ESS.
Hypermiling isn't about driving 65mph. Its a lot about gradual acceleration as opposed to gunning it when a light turns green, using cruise control, gradually coasting to a stop instead of slamming your brakes on, maintaining a steady speed(again, doesnt have to be 65, I like to cruise at...
How were you over 100 miles into that tank but the fuel gauge still reads 100% full? 🤔
Because I calculated with a full 18.3 gallon tank of fuel like you had in the picture and 452 miles of range would put you somewhere at about 25mpg. not hating btw, just genuinely curious!
Found here for $378 each in C load. https://www.americastire.com/buy-tires/bfgoodrich-all-terrain-t-a-ko2/p/104136
I think the Ko2s are a great tire, they get a lot of hate but they have remained possibly the most popular all-terrain for a reason. Not to discredit others experiences, but...
Just thought I would update because I found it interesting. After taking my Jeep to Americas tire yesterday and asking for a road force balance, the guy actually found my front left tire was excessively out of round. He said even if he balances it, it will always produce a vibration. He ordered...
I did 37" Ko2s with a 1 inch spring spacer in the front and a 0.75" spacer in the rear. Everything else is stock. Steering and drivability feels the same as stock, maybe a bit harder to turn the wheel off-road on obstacles. I don't plan on sticking with spacers forever, but for now its perfectly...
I'm wondering if Americas tire/Discount tire always does road force balances or do you have to specifically ask for it? I'm gonna try that when I go back. @Discount Tire
I have a set of 37x12.5r17 C load bfg KO2s. They weigh the same 68 pounds as the 33" Falken Wildpeak at3ws did. Not a huge loss in power, MPG is maybe down 1 overall, on stock 4.10 gears. They are more like 35.8-36" tall on the weight of the vehicle.
I don't know of any 37" tires that are...
Spray that firewall insulation with pure peppermint oil, you can get a decent sized bottle on amazon. You can also soak cotton balls with peppermint oil and leave them in your engine bay, just be sure to replace them periodically.
Both are cool trucks. I'm am interested to see what kind of gas mileage he gets from the zr2. My buddy only get 13mpg on the stock sized tires on his zr2. Just seems surprisingly low.
226 has a pole on their side, just like my parking spot, so they cant really get that close to 227. and 226 has no parking spot on their other side, so they usually are parked pretty far from 227. Regardless, I left my note and that's all I can do, I'm not gonna worry about it further.
You're right, I should let it go. I'm definitely not going to escalate any further than the note I left. I don't want to seem like a Karen. Hopefully the note is received well and they park a little better. If not, oh well I tried!
Maybe im being picky... But if I parked regularly in the middle of my spot, my wife would have no room to get out and I'd be at major risk of a door ding. And parking so close to the pole like I am in the picture means that I can barely squeeze in between my Jeep and the pole.
They seem like nice people, I just worry it just seems like the worlds gone crazy sometimes! Ill probably just leave it at that and not get management involved unless they hit my truck or park in my spot haha.
