I just wanted to see what the court of public opinion thinks. For context they have parked like this at least 2 times before. I was parked as far over as I could, but its hard to squeeze in between that damn pole lol. So yesterday I left a very friendly note essentially saying "Hi neighbor, I noticed your car was almost over the line into my spot, id really appreciate if you could give me more room as its very hard to get groceries and gear out of my truck. Thank you so much :)" Am I an A hole or justified?

I don't disagree with you at all, note was civil and non-threatening. As it looks like you're in an apartment complex I'd let the management know with the pic and text of your note. Hopefully they take your note as a polite request and they pay closer attention to how they park in the spaces.

They seem like nice people, I just worry it just seems like the worlds gone crazy sometimes! Ill probably just leave it at that and not get management involved unless they hit my truck or park in my spot haha.

They're still inside the lines. Quit being so picky.

Or use your winch to drag them over a bit.

Maybe im being picky... But if I parked regularly in the middle of my spot, my wife would have no room to get out and I'd be at major risk of a door ding. And parking so close to the pole like I am in the picture means that I can barely squeeze in between my Jeep and the pole.

I know I'd be thinking that same thing as you ... why tf would someone park like that?

Well, it's because most people are completely indifferent and see their vehicle as an appliance like a refrigerator that they use to get from point A to point B. They simply see your JT as another fridge that they park next to, and they park based on how they always park in the middle of a sea of cars in the Trader Joe's sparking lot. The lines are basically invisible to them.

Where am I going with this? I don't know, but a few deep breaths is always a good start. As long as they are not door-dinging you or dragging something against your Jeep, I say just Elsa it. "Let it Go"

Sometimes you pick a nice end spot & hug the curb, but you just can't win, like with this guy:

You're right, I should let it go. I'm definitely not going to escalate any further than the note I left. I don't want to seem like a Karen. Hopefully the note is received well and they park a little better. If not, oh well I tried!

How does their neighbor usually park? Maybe #226 parks like shit forcing your neighbor to hug the lines?

226 has a pole on their side, just like my parking spot, so they cant really get that close to 227. and 226 has no parking spot on their other side, so they usually are parked pretty far from 227. Regardless, I left my note and that's all I can do, I'm not gonna worry about it further.

The guy in the GMC is considering leaving you a note. 😆
I was about to say that dude’s gonna get home one day and see an empty spot where the Grand Cherokee parks, OP all to one side and say he can’t get his daughter out of the car when you park like that. Life is just a never ending comedy of irony.

No a-hole at all. Cordial notes is how society has worked for decades before the internet came along and everyone turned into whiny p*ssies. Plus, 227 may not even realize they're parking into your spot as perhaps they had a smaller vehicle before and their reference of center is off.

All good in my book

To park like that, I am thinking maybe they are physically challenged. Or perhaps, just fat and have a hard time getting out? It looks to be very deliberate.

What you did wasn't rude at all.
