  1. Leasing a Jeep Gladiator

I'm actually looking at leasing a JLU for 39 months, as I'm thinking the gladiator may be just out of reach, and I want to really get back to a Jeep. My issue is my current truck, which I financed thinking I'd be driving it a lot longer, and therefore I'm upside down. I worked out the numbers...
  2. FCA Announcement + Video: 2020 Jeep Gladiator Begins Shipping to U.S. Dealers

Here here! I'm going to see a JLU tomorrow, I'm losing patience, gotta get my Jeep fix. I'm still tempted to at least wait to see and test drive the gladiator, but JLU will be good enough for now, and the bikini colour has me tempted.
  3. Gladiators heading to dealers spotted on transport carrier?

Not calling him a liar, in fact, I hope he does get it, but didnt anyone notice it says the order date was Jan 23, or am I just reading it wrong?
  4. Understanding Invoice pricing.

Cool, keep my posted. I've read that invoiced is roughly 6-8 percent below msrp, if that's the case, I'll be happy with 8-10 percent below msrp. I'll let you know if Grimsby gets back to any time soon, see what they say compared to others.
  5. Understanding Invoice pricing.

Hey JTRUBI, which dealers you dealing with? I called Grimsby on Monday, still hadn't heard anything, but will be talking to him again soon about a JL. I've never understood below Invoicing as well. I own a business, and I could never sell below invoice. I'm assuming the dealer doesn't...
  6. August - September Delivery?

I agree, I'm not upset at FCA. I bought a 2017 ram 2 years ago because I needed a truck, and figured it would be 3-5 years before we saw a Jeep pickup, if at all. I traded my JKU for it, because I felt I'd need a pickup. But after 2 years, the withdrawal of not having a Jeep, I've had 3 over...
  7. August - September Delivery?

I'm trying to be patient, as I don't NEED a new vehicle, but I want to get back in a Jeep. If Canadian release is going to be even later than the US, meaning we have to wait till winter/early 2020, I may just grab a JL on a short term lease. Local dealer getting a bikini pearl Sahara this...
  8. Did you order an LE?

After reading posts on here for the last few months, I wish I had a Travis@tricity to call my own. You don't have a Canadian twin or clone working at a Jeep dealership do you?
  9. Buying in Canada and importing to USA - big savings, no warranty

Hey OP, it's a great idea in theory. I've never done it this way, but I have imported several used vehicles from the US to Canada, and looked in to buying new to import. The biggest snag I found, was that no dealer would sell direct to export. So right off the bat you'd have to buy and...
  10. Canadian Pricing revealed.

I was secretly hoping it was dollar for dollar with the US, I had built a nice Rubi semi loaded for 55g, was hoping it would translate to 55g Canadian as well. Won't know for sure till the build and price is up on jeep.ca but at that base price, might have to wait till winter/early 2020 to...
  11. Canadian Pricing revealed.

No way. Was that sent to you by a dealer?
  12. Canadian Dealerships below invoice?

Called my first choice dealer today, said they got nothing so far. He said he has had this issue before, where they release info for US, but not Canada, says might be a few more weeks before we get any solid info. Very frustrating, it's not like we are that far away from them. Would it that...
  13. Gone Resto Gladiator

Congrats you go it man. I'll be anticipating, and selfishly expecting, updates and pics of this project. My favourite Jeep was the YJ renegade. Never got one, found one in Arizona few years back, almost pulled the trigger, as I was going to be flying there, so figured I'd buy and drive...
  14. Canadian Dealerships below invoice?

Anyone heard from their dealers since the pricing was announced? I thought about calling one, but get side tracked, figured I'd wait till Monday, see if any of them email or call me.
  15. Who is getting the launch edition? (just a poll)

I was curious, and I'd bite on at least contacting the concierge, but as a Canadian, I'm willing to bet it's a US limited edition, and not available in Canada . But I'll still look in to it .it's out of my budget, but if it has everything I'd want/need in a gladiator, and I'm paying a bit more...
  16. Canadian Dealerships below invoice?

Not sure about Americans buying in Canada, but I remember when dollar was at par, and US vehicles were cheaper than here, every dealer I called, for both a Jeep, and my wife's car, a Scion at the time, no dealer would sell brand new for immediate export. Had to sell to an American and register...
  17. Canadian Dealerships below invoice?

I've had contact with Grimsby Chrysler. They seem to be the most honest I've talked to, and most likely where I'll end up buying from. also had good communication with bustard in listowell. They also have a dealership in Waterloo I believe. Bay King in Hamilton told my buddy 60G for fully...
  18. Canadian Dealerships below invoice?

Ditto. Especially southern Ontario, but I don't mind a road trip for a great deal. Friend of mine said his buddy at a dealership in Hamilton said a fully loaded Rubicon for $60G out the door. Obviously we don't know yet if that's a good deal. 3 other dealers haven't said what kind of deal...
  19. Dealer Pricing- less than JL Wrangler !

Had one dealer tell me last week, pricing will be slightly above JL, had another tell me a fully loaded Rubicon is $60G out the door. Had a 3rd dealer tell me 3 weeks ago that base price on a sport is $60g. It sucks, but it is what it is until we get official pricing .
  20. Cars.com Teases JT Gladiator Media Drive.....Did they lift the embargo?

As mentioned on another post with this video, the belief among some is that the price will be released when embargo is done and reviews come out. If it changes anything, the most truthful dealer to date I've spoken with emailed me yesterday. Said he has a few coming in, don't have a delivery...
