That is a separate purchase. One that I feel is needed to be able to load any updated tunes from Magnuson and or to do your own fine tuning of the programming.

Yes, need to get the ECM unlocked. I know HPtuners offers that service. So you would need that, some form of tuning software, seems like most are using HPTuners. If you buy HPTuners new you can usually get a number of licenses for use in tuning the ECM and TCM. It takes 3 or 4 licenses to tune...

HPTuners is what I and some on here use.

Tuning is done by flash, like HPTuners. That is what I was using. If you already have HPTuners you could use forum member DAVECS1's file that he has created. Sounds to be doing rather well from what I am reading.

Figure it is time to update this thread with my fix. I actually started to get multiple misfires with mine at the end. So I fixed it all by having the motor and trans swapped for a 5.7 hemi and truck 8 speed transmission. No more rough idle or misfires. Hopefully those that are experiencing...
