I don’t think it’s been too bad. Decent amount of people, but not like you can’t get around to see things.
The only time people have been an issue is when there’s an animal on the side of the road and everyone stops to take a picture, which backs up traffic.
Definitely would make me second guess if I hadn’t been familiar with how warm this engine runs already.
I’ll be making my way south (in Yellowstone now), through Yosemite, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Zion, Grand Canyon, and finally White Sands. I’m sure there will be more 100F+ days than not…...
Lol... people are reporting these derating issues when it's 90+F out, they're towing 3000+ lbs up a 9% grade. I haven't seen this issue when folks are just cruising around--but if they're out there, please let me know.
I just towed a 3500 lb. camper across South Dakota a few days ago, in 100F...
The halos don’t work? I had to use JScan to enable them—maybe that’s why?
I was getting an error about my direction lights being out—just had to leave them on for awhile and it went away.
It's known that the DPF Filter% is not an actual number--it's based upon a few other calculations. You'll see that if it gets to 100% and stays there for awhile, that's just an indicator that you're due for a regen, not that it is actually at 100%.
If it was actually full, your Jeep would tell...
This is pretty useful, I think: https://www.toyotires.com/media/3729/application_of_load_inflation_tables_20200723.pdf
I went from LT255/75R17 to LT315/70/R17. I was worried about load and bulging since I run them at 33 psi, but if I look at the load rating @ 35 PSI for 315s, its 2535 lbs...
I think everyone needs to take a step back here. Not really sure why we're arguing... @biodiesel's point is that he has not seen a situation where the warranty has been voided due to the GDE tune. That's it.
Banks, Mr. Tuning, GDE, whatever--they're all tunes. The fact is, if something goes...
I initially didn't get a 5th tire when I purchased my 315s, but now that I'm going on ~8000mi road trip in a couple weeks, I'm thinking otherwise. If I was around home, if I got a flat, just put the spare on the front, and limp home.... Not really possible if I'll be miles away.
Probably going...
I'm confused--how can you tell it's a Gladiator and not a Wrangler? The roll bar in the driver's mirror?
I see what you're saying--but, it could also be a 2-door JL. Or, could just be a poorly edited image.
Any modern car won't let you shift from P/D/R to another P/D/R if you're going too fast. Hell, the Gladiator doesn't even let you--happened to me the other day.
Purchased a EcoDiesel Rubicon set from another member here, but decided to put on the Mopar 2" lift on my EcoDiesel anyways. So, I have the following:
Springs + Fox shocks from EcoDiesel Rubicon. $100
* Shock PN (2)-68341421AF, (2)-68341387AE
* Front Spring part number 377AA
* Rear Spring part...
I came across a Shell station up in VT that had off-road and on-road diesel at the self-serve pumps, next to the gasoline--first time I've seen that.
Unfortunately, the on-road diesel used the big nozzles, and I was forced to use the funnel that's included with the truck... that wasn't fun :(...
