Agreed. and a bypass shock is stillâŠ.. a shockâŠ.the noise coming through that video is resonance from materials rubbing together and send that sound through the spring. You can tell because the pitch of the sound changes as the length if the spring changes during compression and rebound.
again...
I have not read the thread to see what people are saying, but a couple of post scan is noise from shocks?
that video sounds like the spring not the shock to me. If youâre getting noise during the suspension stroke, and your shocks arenât leaking, i wouldnt assume its the shocks first. from...
Ive got an intermittent surging up and down at warm idle. Ive tested for vac leaks 2x and havent found any. Did a re-install of the lid just to be thorough.
my next guess is something in the throttle position sensor or an IAC valve issue.
is there an IAC on these and if so where is it?
thnx
i didnt take the time to read the replies, because the vast majority of people here have no fucking clue what they are doing. but here is your answer
37âs wander more. They just do. And they stress the steering components. Youâll get a ton of people that want to argue with me, but you cant do a...
no, the return of the energy is extremely fluid, and feels surprisingly similar to a hydro stop.
the slight imbalance comes from a combination of the weight on my front springs (blower, extra coolant, arb bondi bumber, 12k winch) and the fact that these bump stops have a slight spring rate...
i didnt do SES. Thatâsfor additional bed/towing load. I did the timbren active off road stops.
i can feel them create a little imbalance with the front when the bed is unladen. But with gear in the bed at speed off road they are great very smooth axle engagement.
springs store, dampers dissipate.
increasing spring rate to match load is fine and wont ruin anything beyond what adding weight does naturally.
im pretty well at the Fabtech spring limit with ARB bumper, Winch, and now blower and may go stiffer. My rear doesnt need airbags, but i did change to...
stock size tire ones are out there you just have to dig to find them.
if its coming down to splitting hairs between a 33â tire vs a 35â tire on a dyno it means you cant tell the difference when youre driving.
Its hard to say. My guess is either Magnusson just straight up inflated their claim or it was a previous version of a tune before they realized they couldn't make emissions with what they are doing.
cylinder pressure and emissions requirements are bugger impediments to a SC manufacturer making...
if youâre willing to use Daveâs tune, youâre good to go. Otherwise, the Edelbrock TVS kit is the way to go. Its a smaller blower and intercooler, but if you arent looking to turn the boost up beyond stock it is adequate.
if you want to turn it up over 10lbs, youâd probably want to apply some...
Sounds like the truck isnt sending power to the line more than it does a problem with the lights. run a volt meter on the power lines to the fogs. It also could be a âsoftâ fuse, although im not sure if these trucks have them or not.
in any event, its time to roll up the sleeves and start...
I have the amber proâs in my ARB bumper. Great light. I only use them for bad weather or dark back/mountain roadsâŠthey are legal, but theyâre bright as fuck. If you just want an amber fog thats a little brighter but gives you âthe lookâ then just get the sports.
