Wouldnāt lights at eye level cause an absurd amount of glare in falling snow??
If anything Iād mount some pods on the bumper.
Thatās part of what drove me to swap Baja designs pods to DD pods, sharper horizontal cutoff and less glare.
I feel like I could drive comfortably with just my DD amber...
It took me so little time I canāt believe I put it off for so long. The taping didnāt take that long.
To be fair, I repaint my steps with the same rust reformer spray paint so I didnāt have to worry about removing steps or masking them off.
Was gonna say Rock Hard.
Another option is just to paint your pinch seams. My steps didnāt cover them, and I ended up just taping off the rocker panels and spray painting the seam. Now it disappears pretty well.
Yea, I mean itās to help put out a little cooking fire or something. Better than nothing, and Iām not going to haul a 20# extinguisher around. Most small extinguishers people carry probably wouldnāt put out a huge gas fire.
Itās above my head on the roll bar so shouldnāt hit.
I went further down the rabbit hole of comparing device mounting arms.
RAM by far has the most extensive variety of mounting solutions across different vehicles and devices, including motorcycle, wheelchair, kayak, etc. they mostly use a 1ā ball system, though 9/16ā and 1.5ā and 2.25ā balls are...
I believe he used Yakima landing pads (I used #1) to mount to rails, Yakima skyline mounts that attach to the bars and mount to the landing pads, and the Yakima HD bars.

I had some gunk in mine, couple wouldn't stop deflating, but that was likely because I mounted some used, filthy tires.
I wouldn't worry about running 15psi, that's what I do on 37s. I think some of mine...
This looks like a quality mount but I never can figure out why you'd want the jack exposed to the elements.
I understand the desire to keep them in proper working order, but they are called Farm Jacks after all.
Iām sure farmers donāt keep them pristine in a waterproof case.
Then again, half...
Good choice. I donāt know when ālowā is useful, as it is too bright to reasonably exist in civilization. So if Iām in the wilderness I am happy getting as much light as possible. If I come up on others I shut them off⦠I imagine low would still be absolutely blinding to others!
Iām surprised the fronts arenāt braided. Would they be too hard to curve?
I know the old Mojave shocks arenāt either, but they have pretty good brackets holding them.
HOWEVER if you put Mojave shocks on, say, my Rubicon, things arenāt in the same place and the brackets donāt quite fit so a...
