I had this problem. Installed the Desert does it seat slammers which lower and tilt the seat. WAY better comfort, thigh support, and no more sore tailbone.
I also installed a dead pedal. Much more comfortable to drive long distances now!
BTW, Iām 6ā4
Long time Engel owner here. Iāve also lived in the Midwest so I understand winter.
I had my Engel inside my JL full time when the polar vortex hit in ā18.
āTwas 58 below zero. The Engel still works.
Heat should be no factor. Itās made in Australia.
I did these. MASSIVE improvement in comfort.
I was having terrible hip and tailbone pain on long drives. The addition of the Slammer kit from Desert Does It, and a dead pedal, made a HUGE difference.

Try to keep up kid, for someone so very well informed you should try reading for comprehension next time instead of speed.
Bullshit. Wind and solar are sometimey at best. States like Texas and California have poured BILLIONS into green energy and itās anything but dependable. And how many ānatural gasā power plants are there again?
Itās not ready for prime time. And thatās a fact.
Absolutely correct. Last I heard there were 3 maybe 4 facilities NATIONWIDE capable of properly disposing of these batteries. Hardly enough to meet current much less future demand. So ask yourself where the rest of that waste is going now or in even 10 years?
And follow the money on where and...
Hydro is the only other energy source other than fossil or nuclear that is anywhere near reliable.
Wind? Solar? GTFOH with that. Weather has a mind of its own and itās anything but reliable.
Like I said, we need to stop BSāing ourselves with this āEVā thing. All these Teslas etc need to plug...
We need to stop calling these things EVās or electric powered.
Theyāre not electric powered. Theyāre coal powered. Fossil fuel powered. The whole damn thing is a virtue signaling pipe dream.
